Take your phone out of download mode and boot it normally, uninstall Samsung Mobile drivers for usb and reconnect your phone. Casual will recognize it and once you start it won't have a conflict with the drivers anymore

Why you in download mode.
Uninstall your drivers.
Turn on USB debugging.
Plug phone in
Let your computer install ABD drivers
Casual should see your phone after it is booted up normally.

Open kies if you have it installed, then plug your phone and turn it on, it will try to fix it.
Second option, kill kies completely, get a stock GB ROM download using checkfus or Sammobile and flash using Odin.
Download the stock ROM again, what you have now might be corrupt.

Yes i m in download mode but doin gets stuck in one point can't proceed proceed after this error msg "establishing connection"..

Did you install the Samsung USB Driver? I hope you are using Windows...
are you stuck in setup connection............
if yes uninstall Kies
try the following if you are stuck on kies
1. run odin as administrator.
2.try using different usb ports.
3. uninstall kies and use the samsung drivers alone.
Hey there.
I am using a custom rom (IMM76D UCLE2) and when I plug in my phone to back up to kies it doesnt find the phone. I have the USB drivers installed.
I noticed at the top its showing connected as a media device. I should be able to see it in my computer???

Unplug the phone.
Reboot pc, start Kies
Put phone in download mode
Connect phone to pc
Also, try recovery mode

When i connect the phone to the usb it begins to charge but the pc does not recognize the phone. when i look it up through my computer what i see is 'media stick'. My phone reads mtp and shows the universal logo of a usb... SOME HELP PLS!!!
did you install samsung usb drivers to your phone ?

i tried to flash stock rom using odin but when i connect my s2 to computer in download mode odin doesnt regonize phone there comes only text 0:com10 when i hit start there comes only i dont know what to do pls help me

You must install driver first.
Install kies then kill kies procces and open odin and thats it a dnt forget about to thick debug

First install drivers.
Check Usb debugging in dev options
Third try a different usb port.
Restart your computer.
Connect your phone on download mode when Odin is open.

Hi all im new to this forum I got my acei a few days ago second hand off eBay but I have a problem when I connect it to my laptop it says usb device not recognized is the usb broken it charges ok and my jig works on it I have Samsung drivers installed and keis and odin but nothing is picking the phone up can anyone help.

Nope... Its better than seven. When your device connected enter device manager remove unknown device. Remove cable from usb. Remove all drivers including kies. Reboot pc. Reinstall universal drivers or kies not both. Reboot pc. When pc fully activated remove battery of phone plug cable to only phone. Put battery enter odin mode as soon as you enter odin mode plug usb to pc but different usb port recomended. Wait pc recognized drivers.
If this wont work change cable a new one if you can get. And try with the new cable.
Edit: As i see its a second hand phone it may have a problem with usb port of phone if nothing works. Jig uses two legs of usb so the charge. One leg in common with jig and charge so one leg left behind which may have a problem.

Ok ill try that when I get home. All my Xperias drivers install fine and i installed drivers for myy android tv box last night and rooted it.
