Hi, I'm using custom rom mySENSEdx+ RC2.0, and I can't overclock my CPU. I read somewhere that is it because we don't have custom kernel. But, while I was using MIUI, I could change frequency of CPU, even to 1.6 GHz.
Can someone explain me what is it about?

The custom kernel for MIUI allowed for overclocking, but the one used to boot mySense JB is a stock kernel provided by HTC, and since we do not have kernel sources it is difficult for us to create a custom kernel for JB overclock. Basically.
It is not real overclocking. Only governors / schedulers work with that kernel. There is no real overclocking available for our phone,

It doesn't true that yours phones not support oc, they just freezes because of too high oc. Flash any of the G3Mod kernels. It starts with default cpu speed then use set cpu and check how high you phone can go.

You can try with G3Mod Performance or Ultimate v1.3.3. With first one you can overclock to 1000mhz with ultimate to 1200mhz.

And i installled g3mod ultimate on my phone, now it's incredibly fast,
Hey guys....now that our device is finally rooted will we get an o/c kernel??
It has the same cpu/gpu as xperia active/ray/arc which have an o/c kernel available if you want to flash it so wouldn't be fairly easy to have one for our device as well?
If i'm not wrong we only need the cpu frequency and voltages settings to be put on the kernel of you phone, right?
Please correct me if i'm wrong!

No, the kernel is stable if you don't overclock your phone too much. I would suggest taking the overclock to 768 and if you get kernel panics, lower your overclock.

Of course you should flash the 2013 version as it will be more stable. You can also try thunderkernel which can overclock upto 1.04 ghz. I use thunderkernel. it is nice and stable.
