I'm a noon but.... I just rooted my phone using the jcase method... And I haven't updated to 20f yet.... Can I use OTA Root Keeper? Or should I unroot when I have to update?

I am hoping for this, as well. I think a hack would have to be flashed through fastboot due to s-ON, though, if I'm not mistaken.
Read the 2 other post about it in the apps section. One is about the j butterfly

I went back to ics from jb but i still have the 1232 baseband version. How do i get the ics 1233 version or does it not even matter?

Did you reflash the KDZ or restore from a CWM backup?
I did the KDZ route and have the 1233 baseband. Not sure how that worked, but it's worth a shot

Restored cwm backup. I don't have access to a computer for awhile

Honestly you should get to a computer friend as the only way to get baseband. And radio back is kdz method

I'm currently working with Jcase now. He's trying to see what he can do.

If you deleted any bloatware it will not effect you because you can not update if you accidentally hit update

I was on 10g unrooted, Did the OTA update to 20f from T-Mobile and then rooted using JCase's method just fine, no issues.. been trying to root my p769 since May, couldn't do it with the KDZ flashing, tried everyday for weeks and just gave up. Suddenly saw people saying 20f is coming out so I deleted my frameworks and got the update the very next AM. After my phone updated I rooted it in 5 mins, thanks JCase!! Meant to thank you after I rooted it few days ago but I can't post in the development threads with my low post count..

Last night aokp announced kit Kat nightly's were out. Vz note to had a download. Tried it out but couldn't get it to boot. No boot animation. Just hung on a black screen. Anybody else try it out that had better luck? Been running cm11 since released with no problems.
Here's a link to download it
