Auto Call Recording based on MG1
Should work on Tw ROM Odexed/Deodexed, all latest 4.1.2 MC/ME/MF/MG
Anyone using my MultiMod, DON'T use this, I will add this mod in next version
Nothing to say more, as title suggests it will record all incoming and outgoing calls
There is no any controller application, it will by default record all calls.
Destination directory sdcard/sound
recording file format : yymmdd_hhmmss_In/Out_Contact/number.amr
Install
1.Download Autocall record zip and flash using CWM/TWRP (Mobile odin user have to backup original files manually)
OR
Download This for Auto Call Record for White theme
If it doesn't work/want to rever previous mod
2.Download and flash Auto call record revert zip from CWM/TWRP
PS : You can include this to your mod/ROM without asking me. Hope you wish to mention on your thread.

I don't have that too. what options it includes? It's not under additional setting?

When I ported the first version of MIUI, Jelly Bean based, named _miui.polimorph_ I was guided by 3 key words:

Because I belive the feedback is a very good fuel for progress this thread is dedicated for you. And since the awsome XDA forums provide us this thread as "meeting point" please feel free to ask or share here all your questions, opinions, and ideas about _miui.polimorph_ and how a MIUI rom can be the best, based on your demands. My goal for now is to obtain an eclectic operational system that includes the most complete variety of positive features a ROM can include. I'm sure that if we all share as a team we will eventually have the best MIUI ROM for Samsung Galaxy S III. There can be also users who installed _miui.polimorph_ and can't post under development section even if they want to say something. This is the right place to share.
So to be specific and well understood please specify the versions of your ROM:
1. the incremental (version of MIUI, i.e. 2.9.7) and
2. the version of _pph_ edition (i.e. v1);
->the file you have installed would be MIUI_JB_i9300_2.9.7_v1_pph.zip;
3. logcat or screenshot (how to in the dev thread post#2 - debugging)

Good question. The simplest answer is "yes". De-compile framework-res.apk using "apktool 1.5.0" and latest "aapt" and find file "framework-res.apk\res\values\bools.xml". Open it with Notepad++ and edit the line "<bool name="config_animateScreenLights">false</bool>" to "true".

Yes it is. For the next operation I recomend to use 7-zip archiver. You need to have the two zips: your _miui.polimorph_ 2.10.26 zip version and the build you want to use for example 2.11.9. Open each one of them (do not extract, just open) and navigate to /system/app and just drag and drop the file Camera.apk and MiuiGallery.apk from 2.10.26 zip to your preffered _miui.polimorph_ version. Also it's better if you delete other camera apps such as GoogleGallery.apk from the same folder you just pasted the apks (_miui.polimorph_2.11.9.zip/system/app).

Please tell me what version do you have installed.

Edit the first line of the array "<integer-array name="config_autoBrightnessLcdBacklightValues">". You can find it in the file arrays.xml @ /res/values by de-compiling /system/framework/framework-res.apk. I set it to 10 (between 0 and 6 lux) in my roms which I belive it's the lowest. Can it go lower?
EDIT: there's also a neat app to configure auto-brightness levels using a graph on Play Store called Velis Auto Brightness. You might want to try it first.

To be honest, this is second rom that i tried other than another rom that close to stockrom. And its my first AOSP rom. I would say if its working well I stick to your rom but i have some problem.
1. AOSP keyboard keep FC after flashed (I have to use swiftkey, and the FC still appear)
2. I cant login into playstore (Need flash another zip?)
3. SMS Setting (I cant send/receive text, apparently is service center no. issue showing "00", but i cant change it to my carrier no. It just show FC)
Overall, I like the rom so much, especially, the customization, the themes, and of course the camera itself which the best afterall.
I am running latest miui with siyah kernel in page.

Did you changed the default DPI? Clear Playstore's data, or flash gapps again.

I recomend you only to flash wiping data/cache/dalvik/preload.

1. I'm using "Keyboard" (MiuiKeyboard) that's also coming embeded in the rom.
2. Flash gapps 20121011.
3. Don't know what's that about, but I have the feeling that's a bad rom flash. Flash your rom again using flashing instructions from the main thread.
I'm using Omega v36, baseband XXELLA, can I flash this rom?
Before that applied this, my gps lock and Instantly after lost satellites, also if satellites was seen, not locked

Root required
Know how set permissions

Put these files into system/etc and set permissions to rw-r-r
Then tap 3845#*760# (or 765 768 769, what kind of your phone) into dialer
Go to ---> GPS Test > Protocol Setting > User Plane Setting > SLP Setting > choose LGE SUPL
Reboot and test

I receive an error "Connection problem or invalid MMI code" after entering the string into dialer...but then...I don't have cell reception in my home. I suppose that could have something to do with it....?
EDIT: Found the error...within the string "3845#*760#", the last three digits reference the model # of the phone. In my case, 760 is replaced with 769. Hope this lessens any confusion for others who try. The tweak works very well!
Could you be more precise ? What files to copy ? There are 2 folders : META-INF that has 6 subfolders ..and System with 2 files in it. Those 2 files have to be copied in /etc ? I copied them and set the GPS settings but I have 0 signal

Everything was set,permissions + rebooted. Its not even detecting satellites ...

I'm rooted, on CM10.1 with p769(760 bl)
and I downloaded 3.1 no ssl and extracted the gps.conf file to system/etc, set permissions and reboot
Entered 3845#*769# and also tried 3845#*760#
but both still get 'connection problem or invalid mmi code'
Is this known to work for anyone on CM10.1? or am I missing something?
edit: I didn't get to the option where I can do the GPS test. what am i doing wrong? I have followed everything in OP
The cm not have hidden menu (3845#*....) ,you need to download 3.1 google no ssl, and that's all

The option button to record after flashing is showing, but is grayed out and doesn't do anything when I tap it. This is on stock Deodex NF6.

project infinity ROM already had call record in the ROM and it working fine for me.

for some reason mine works at times sometime by rebooting the phone or by clearing out the cache in recovery.i'm only towel rooted everything else is stock

Works nicely for songs, but this messed up some of my video audio output, both speaker and over wifi. It is as if people are talking under water. Lil bit of echo effect too.

Hey, any idea as to how to get it to stick on CM 12.1? Cuz it doesn't process on PowerAmp and MixRadio, on most other players it does..

Hi. thanks to @mannyvzla finally i got Viper4Android to work. on Stock Rom, Stock Kernel and Marshmallow!
here are the steps. (you need rooted s5)
1.Install busy box.
2.flash this file via recovery menu https://www.dropbox.com/s/k9cnruw2e1t1d4t/ViPER4Android-supolicy.zip?dl=0
(it will allow viper4android for your stock kernel)
3.after that go to SuperSU Settings and uncheck the entry for namespaces.
4.install viper4android normally (just download the original apk and install it)
5.install the driver, restart phone
6.enjoy your music In BEST QUALITY

Installed on a Canadian sm-900w8, stock.
I also froze the built in music player, adapt sound and google music to make sure it wouldn't interfere.
I couldn't locate the music effects in either the default player or google music, which is why I disabled them.

If you go into Viper and change the Ui setting to moderate it will open more options being Master Gate which is under Extra Loud. Both of these options can give a boost.

Make sure to also try selecting "Compatible" mode in "Settings - FX Compatible Mode". For me if it's on "Normal" there is no effect but when I change it to "Compatible" it works fine.

Worked great for me. I first had to switch from MagiskSU back to SuperSU, which was tricky. I also needed to use compatible mode. Using it with Spotify.
