I was checking the rom normally, and then I found the "samsung codes" that ta in configurations, I pressed and clicked update and my touch is not working anymore, already gave wipe date, installed another rom, and spent a stock remains the same problem,'ve searched and saw it has something to do with this code to retrieve: * # 0 * #! But no writing, there's no way to do anything! ... someone who knows how to take this error .. help me there!

Searching the internet I came here to change the rom of my phone, use the hard reset and did not have any problem in the process, then asks me to restart the phone, restarted, and when a screen turns white and does not come out of it, no more than anything.

Sounds like you flashed and incompatable ROM or didn't use hard_spl either way go over to the htc official website - click support find your device and it will list some stock ROMs download an official ROM using the S/N from underneath the battery - Make sure the battery has plenty of charge - plug into your PC and load the stock htc ROM file this should take you through all the standard ROM flash info and will then flash the stock ROM onto your device. Hopefully this will flash back to stock for you and no more white screen.

I think that what you say is only for original phone htc diamond 2, since according to official rom I read are for the real htc diamond 2.
The mine is not original, as it says is a Chinese clone t5388i, please follow the screen in white, would greatly appreciate if someone helps me out of this problem is quite afflicted.

sorry missed the clone bit on your topic . I don't have a clone myself so no ideas if the hard reset works. Might be a good idea to post which ROM you flashed to it

There is a tool called k3AID available who could help you. It's posted in that topic about 50 posts ago. I have a copy if you need it.
There is also another possibility to do a blind flash. This means the screen is not working but the phone can still be flashed. First thing is get the correct firmware for your phone because each time you flash the phone can get bricked / defect.

@HTC_NEW: Did you do the following steps according to reeprich instructions? What was the end result?
I did read that you used the calibration menu but I expect that you should use the download firmware menu. Is that available? ( I had the software installed but my virus scanner complained that there is a virus in the tmp file...) What's more important if your phone does not work anymore... Please be aware that this is a possible virus.
Removing the battery for a couple of minutes can help for restarting the phone.

i installed the firmware XXLQ5 and rooted it then i went to store downloaded unlock sim app i done it got unlocked but now what happened is my bro done somthing and got locked back to normal , i tried the same process its not working no more even with the unlock apps i downloaded from store.
also when ever now i try and go to unlock sim apps a quick message comes up it says somthing like , shell has been granted superuser permissions my god help plz

The message you get is from superuser which is giving superuser access to a rooted app. Maybe from the app you tried to unlock your phone with. Have you tried flashing it again, root it and try to unlock it? I'm sorry I have no experience with unlocking apps but it's worth a shot.

Can you look at /efs folder using a file manager like root explorer. If it is empty then you are in trouble. If so, send it to the service center and don't mention rooting etc or else your warranty will be voided. Just say your signal just dropped suddenly while you were watching YouTube etc. I experienced having an unknown imei (with an intact efs folder) but a reboot fixed it.

please excuse my bad english (i'm frensh), well i just got my SII so i installed some apps and decided to uploade it to Version 4.0.3
i didn't use any softwares i only did the automatic update from settings !
well it uploaded (almost 200mb) then it installed then reboot ... and it worked but i noticed a little bug i guess (correct me if i'm wrong sorry):
1-when i click on the button on the right on le phone the screen goes off (normal) but when i click again it just goes dirrectly to home, no locking screen nothing!
2- the radio doesnt word even when i put my earphones
3-when i maintain the button in the right (same one as before) normally a menu should apper ( plane mode... silent mode ...) but no it just the phone goes off !
Well i'm really sorry if i didn't express myself very well i did my best (i have a bad english) and i'm not very good with android stuff so can someone help please, are those bugs normal? is there a solution ?

the first and the third problems are the same thing:
if you already have root, go through android terminal and type:
su
echo -n ON > /efs/imei/keystr
sync
reboot
that will enable your power button options
for the radio, are you sure your earphones are ok?
or it could be a hardware problem?

My phone did not accept to launch once I made this command: "fastboot flash kernel kernel.img". Subsequently, all my data was lost ... yes, I am a noob.
