Because the same reason you don't see custom ROMs for this phone. The OS and all of it's files are locked down and no one has been able to break the security since the 820 was released. So you will not see any custom sounds or any other customization options for this phone. In fact if you want to customize then drop the Lumia line all together. it won;t be cracked any time soon.

Can someone please upload the lockscreen wallpapers that came in your Lumia by default?
Thanks,
The loser who couldn't wait for Lumia and invested in Titan.
They should be available via Settings -> Lockscreen -> Background

Read the post he hasn't got a Lumia, so he cannot get them there. I have them, but how do I sync them to my PC. Zune doesn't show them.

Some people don't know about this option thus missing a few stock backgrounds. I thought it was worth mentioning.

Yeah you are right, I don't own a Lumia
But I've heard Lumia has got some awesome wallpapers (as if the phone itself wasn't enough) to make me want it!
I think they are meant to be extracted somehow. Could you upload them to Skydrive from your phone?

Yes, there are some pretty nice photos in there But I don't see any way to upload/share them. If you know of any other way, let me know
I don't think you can extract those photos in any way. They are probably "baked" into the system. There are no options at all when longpressing those photos or the album. It can't even be browsed/seen other than when changing the lockscreen wallpaper.
hi all,
I have looked up nokia lumia 800 rm 801 and found release 12460 but navifirm is not showing any variants today, I have cleared the local cache but still no variants any ideas
voith
quite a few have viewed this post but no replies, so asking in a different direction, can anyone test this and tell me if its my end or it is the same with them, if I try any of the earlier releases most supply variants so I know that at least some are working
same problem here...
navifirm shows the latest fw "number" to me, but "inside" i cannot see anything. empty...

thanks for that at least I know,I will just have to keep trying
Same here, and there seems to be somethign weird with the 710 list too, the version numbers are in the wrong order and UK or GB versions have disappeared from the latest update
I'm guessing because the original 7.8 update was buggy so until they add the fixes to the new images, they may have been removed
you could be right, I have seen this comment elsewhere, and it seemed to be backed up, but for the life of me I can't remember where, luckily I had the file on my lappy, so was able to use it to install on another phone, a couple of personal benefits is that so far my email in-box has not emptied as with the earlier windows and with the variant I used I was able to get the ease of access voice incoming call working
It looks like they've pulled the 7.8 ROMs from NaviFirm.
This makes sense as there are two very major bugs in these builds:
1. The live tile bug (it's a 7.8 build from before this was fixed)
2. The volume limit bug.
I'm sure they'll come out with new ROMs soon that address both of these issue.
Hi
Is there a way to extract the default ringtones from the Lumia 920?
Thanks

That's a good question but I'm told through threads here that those files are renamed and stashed in some ridiculous folder no one would think to look in and it is really hard to get a good look at the inside of those folders due to how much of them are hidden, encrypted or just plain aggravating.
Hey everyone
I am on a developer unlocked Telstra (AUS) lumia 920.
Does anyone have data sense as a xap? Can it be found anywhere to at least perform soime functions of the app. I keep hearing that it is carrier dependent. Then I hear it is not? Does anyone have the clear verdict on this? If I can download it and side load it, where do I find it?

already on gdr3, but no data sense.
There was a really great notification sound I remember having for my Nokia Lumia 800 back in the day, but I can't find it anywhere! I've even dug through the entire Microsoft Phone Design soundcloud page, and still no luck! Could anyone export them and hit me up with those, or know where I could go snag them?
Thanks for the trouble!
