[official]-[help] experiencing problems after rooting s-off?

Has anyone had any problems after using the revolutionary S-OFF guide? I am currently 3 days into a problem, I havn't had much time to work on my phone because I've been so busy but this is my first step of getting down to the issue and I will post my solution when I find it.
ONLY problems I am having...
1. I cannot send/receive texts
2. I cannot make/receive calls
What's working...
1. Data/internet is working 100% with no issues(this is kinda weird)
2. Everything else is working fine
What I've tried so far...
1. Wiping all data flashing numerous different roms
2. restoring a nandroid backup
3. using QPST Tools to flash my Sprint data back up(I backed up my Sprint settings with this)
4. I was using PRL 01337 and even flashed different PRL'S
5. I went to menu>settings>System Updates> and updated PRL and profile
6. I dialed ##3282#>entered my MSL>Edit settings and changed my proxy to 0's(user name and all other info is correct I assure you)
7.Dialed ##MY_MSL_CODE#>edit settings> My phone number and MDN number are correct and I even changed a number then changed it back, hit menu, then commit modifications so it reboots.. still nothing.
8. I updated the most current radios
9. Everytime I go into recovery to try flashing again I check to see if im S-OFF and I am still S-OFF. I know I rooted correctly and have the recovery installed correctly, I am using TWRP V1.0.1
10. Just flashed the latest ViperRom, Once again Data works great but when I call or text I get an error code.
Error codes received:
-When sending a text I get "SMS ERROR - Radio Interface Resource Shortage"
Cause Code: 62
Error Class: 2
-When I make a call it rings a few times then says "
Solved...
Here's the most simple solution to fix your Talk, Text, & Calling errors after you have rooted to s-off. Not everyone experiences this issue, but if you run into it your in the right place. This is what we like to call a "Data refresh". It wipes ALLL your sprint connection settings, reboots, and goes through a "Hands Free Activation".
Step 1. Get your MSL(Master subsidy Lock). Since root is available now, this is very simple to get! Just download MSL READER from the app market after you are fully rooted to S-OFF.
Step 2. Dial ##72786#, enter your MSL code.
Step 3. Press Menu, then "Reset". Your phone will reboot and will go through a hands free activation. You now have a fully working 3VO S-OFF.
(Note: In step 3 when I told you to click reset, keep in mind this does NOT reset your phone and all your personal stuff, apps, etc. will still be right where they were before you reset it.)
You need to stay on the line when making a call. Let it reach customer service and say that you encountered an error 16 and they need to reprovision your profile on their end.
It will require a battery pull, so you may need to call from another phone.
That will fix your text/call problem.
Bluetooth headset pairing issue!
I'm trying to pair some bluetooth stereo headphones and my phone isn't recognizing the new device. It is able to connect with all the previously paired devices, but it won't recognize any new headset devices. I've tried pairing it to two headsets (one of which I unpaired and tried re-pairing) without success. Please help! THanks....
Thank you sooooo much!!! Tried calling Sprint 3 times to fix that...
Edit: didn't work. Radio interface resource shortage still. Grrrrrrrrr!

Mobile Data 'disconnected because service is unavailable' Htc one M8

I unlocked the bootloader of my Htc One m8 gsm a few weeks ago. I installed TWRP recovery and then cm12. I made a backup of my stock rom before doing a wipe. I then expeirenced that the mobile data was not working on the new rom. I also tried the GPE 5.1 lollipop rom but to no avail. There was a ' ! ' mark beside the service bar and no icon appeared in my status bar whenever I turned mobile data on. Today I restored my phone back to the stock (sense) rom and still mobile data is not workinng.
I can not understand the problem. It just says 'disconnected because service is unavailable'. I have been able to recieve text messages/calls the whole time, just the mobile data does not work.

[i9300][cm13-20160610-nightly] Problem to call and receive calls

These days I rooted and flashed my Samsung S3 i9300 with
- TWRP
- cm-13.0-20160610-NIGHTLY-i9300
- open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20160611
Before Android 4.3 I had no problems
- unlocking my SIM-card
- calling someone
- receiving calls
- sending/receicing SMS
- using Internet
- using WLAN
With CM13 it's like this
- OK unlocking my SIM-card
- FAILS calling someone
- FAILS receiving calls
- OK sending/receicing SMS
- OK using Internet
- OK using WLAN
While calling someone, the CM-Logo is displayed pulsing, but no sound is heard, and the receiving person doesn't get a tone.
While being called by someone else, he get's a normal ring tone, but on my phone I don't get any hint about being called!
Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance
Michael
Maybe the functional SMS misdirected me...
I found another strange situation, that may be the real cause:
in "Settings" in "Mobile Settings" (which is on) I can't edit any settings "Data roamin, Preferred network type", etc. They are all greyed out!
Additionally in "Network operators" only displays "Choose a network operator"
and "Preferred network typ" displays "Invalid Network Mode (-1)"
in "Settings / About phone / Status / SIM status" the "Network" is correctly set to "E-Plus" (using AldiTalk)
the "Mobile network type" is "not available"
"Roaming" is set to "Not roaming"
"Mobile network state" is "Disconntected"
Althou I can send and receive SMS
I'm really stuck... any ideas please?
Did you do a wipe before the installation?
Yes, I wiped everytime (everything without internal storage and SDcard)! I retried 3 times more with cm13, everytime with the same result!
My last try was cm12.1 & gapps5.1 and it worked right out of the box!
Had anyone else such a situation with Samsung S3 i9300 and cm13? Or did everything worked fine?

Click to collapse
I am using the original cm13 with boeffla kernel, xposed and some other modifications but haven't experienced any problem so far. Also had used some modified cm13 roms with different settings (temasek's, rr etc) and got no problem.

Moto E (2nd) Verizon cant activate + weird behaviour

Hi guys.
I have a Moto E2 (2nd) Verizon model xt1528 which is locked to Verizon.
I got this device to try and unlock it with gsm services, when i got it i simply factory reset the phone using the recovery to start from scratch. all went well, but here's where the problems starts:
The initial Activation screen says the sim inserted is not Verizon's, which is fine..i pulled it out and continue the setup using WiFi, the screen which says "Checking info" is runing for a few seconds then displays "Couldnt sign in" (cant establish a reliable connection to the server, and wifi is working properly i might add) etc'.
If i go back a screen, it allows to input the first and last name, then it gets to the Google services checkboxes, i hit next and then i get a crash saying "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped".
I tried frp bypass using this video just to get to the Developer options:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4sQ73IoHQc
But when i get to the part that i need to share the text using Message app, i cant find the message app in the list. if i click on Hangouts, i get another "Unfortunately" crash.
It seems everything in the gapps system is faulty.
I tried:
Reinstalling to the latest firmware available (XT1528_SURNIA_VERIZON_5.1_LPI23.29-17.5_cid2_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml) using Fastboot. all went well and no errors. (bootloader is locked, cant unlock it without getting to Settings)
I tried to bypass the activation with simcard/without
I tried getting to the settings by any means that i can think of, nothing works, it seems google apps keep crashing and because of that, the setup screen itself is crashing.
Can anyone think of a solution to this?
Anyone?
