I have 2.6.9 already but it's the [AU] [AU] I want to change.
Havn't been able to uninstall the current version. I would like to install the French version of the Play Movies app - but it always says: Installed
The device is a Sony SGP321 (Tablet Z) - AU/NZ version.
Thanks...

Well some one? I just can't able to run it. And I can't find anything in internet. So please help me
did your device originally come with the play store? if not then the play store is not surported. in that case install the 1mobile market, a good alternative. they have almost the same apps as google play (just search 1mobile market in your browser and install the market)

It is very common that chinese tablets comes without google sync provider at all. Do you have google account in account management settings? If not you could install google apps from wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Gapps
Hi,
Just installed the newest gapps on my Nexus 4, Paranoid 5 (unofficial alpha).
But, why does the play store state that the keyboard is incompatible with my device (hey, i'm using it right now from the gapps installation)
If I don't install it via the play store I will not receive OTA updates, right?
So I recently purchased a sony playstation 4 and thought to give it a go with remote play - downloaded from play market. From which I could quite easily connect to the playstation 4 with in my home wifi network (the app itself checks and denies a connection if the phone is not connected to wifi specifically.)
Hence no remote play over mobile network support via sonys official app.
This is where this thread came in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2929147
Read the 2nd post RE z3 phones.
Below I've quoted my post in that thread after my success with the port:
* Z3 Compact
* D5803
* Stock Xperia KitKat 4.4.4
* Unrooted & Locked Bootlaoder.
Simply uninstalled Remote Play which I initially had installed from Play market and then Installed your RemotePlayPortV0.6.1.apk (as per post#2 RE: Xperia Z22/Z3 devices.)
Subsequently successfully achieved your bypass of the dreaded WiFi check hindrance.. and can now Remote Play over 4G.

This is the apk I used from this original thread http://www.mediafire.com/?q4e4tgzzsmgmko1
If you got it Working (or Not) then please post with the below info:
Device Model Number
Rooted or not
Locked or Unlocked Bootlaoder
Android Version (4.4.2 4.4.4 5.0 and AOSP CyanogenMod Stock ect.)

To anyone with Root on Stock ROM....
1. Does the official Sony remote play app deny you successful remote play feature given your rooted or does it still work?
2. Does the ported apk attahed in the above post achieve a successful remote play experience (which amongst other things removes the WiFi and Root check Sony had in place within the official remote play app found on market.)
3. Or do the xposed modules "Fake WiFi" & "Root Cloak" collectively make for the 'official remote play' app to work over 4g without need for the ported app?

To anyone with Root on CUSTOM ROM...
1. Does the ported remote play app work for you?

There's not much interest here.
Regardless here's a tiny update on this regard.
I've since Rooted w/ Locked Bootloader.
On Stock 4.4.4 ROM.
For point 2 above just FYI for any readers out there - IT WORKS
Jobs a gooden.
I've a Philips 55PUS7909 with Android Jelly Bean on board.
There is a pre-installed Google Play Music app (the very very old version with the old icon). Google Play updates it to v5.9.1854R.1904527 and it doesn't let me update it further.
I'd like to install the 6.0.x version because I hope it will enable me to run in leanback mode the app (the UI used by Android TV)...
Installing the updated version (from apkmirror) tells me that there is a signature conflict with the currently installed app, so I was wondering if you guys know how to do update it?
