Problem with microphone - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys , first of all I'm running Android 4.2.2 with room xDroidH 4.0 . I don't know if that could be the problem but anyway I'm giving it out
Well , now I'm on T-Mobile and the phone "works" , because I can send and recieve sms. When I call I can't heard anything and it seems that they could not heard me too. For me that's weird and I can't understand where is the problem . I've read some post that says that it could be an hardware problem or something with the "modem" and I don't really know what to do.Should I flash another rom?.
When I play music , sounds works perfect and voice recorder record pretty well . I've also tried skype and it works like a charm , so that's why I think that it must to be something related with software and not with microphone. Or maybe I'm wrong and it's a part of the phone that's only used to calls and have nothing to do with the microhone.I really don't know and that's why I'm asking for help,
Maybe there is any way to test that is an hardware issue and not software?
Thanks for reading

Any clue?

[Q] Bad call sound quality

Hello there,
As the title says my SGS3 phone has problem with calling sound quality (the person at the other end sounds like garbage, like a bad walkie talkie). This started with a random call, and after I answered it the sound just „exploded”. I barely understand the interlocutor.
What's interesting though is that not all my phone calls are bad. I mean I only got this problem on random phones, but when I try to call a service from my country, like 411, is always the same bad sound.
I'm using custom RonenROM and Siyah Kernel. I also have Omega Rom installed on my secondary boot partition, but I didn't experience that issue there. Though I can say that I'm not using second rom so often, so maybe there wasn't enough time to trigger the problem.
I also want to add that I experienced the same problem a couple of days earlier when I fresh installed RonenROM for the first time, so after that I reinstalled it and also used SiyahKernel, but the problem reappeared.
I don't know what to do anymore, I googled this problem but never found a solution for it.
LE: Sorry for my bad english, but it's not my main language.
Check /search the calling sound quality posts.
Wipe phone and install correct stock rom .

[Q] Bluetooth issue for 5380i....

Hi,
I have posted this in the Questions thread but had no answer so I am trying here to find a hero to help me!!!!
I have got an S5380i as a work's phone and when I have my Bluetooth headset connected to it, when you answer incoming calls the phone resets after exactly 16 seconds into the call. Outgoing calls are fine, but this happens about 80% of the time.
I have searched the internet for info about this and cannot find anything.
I have tried using the Jellyblast Custom Rom, which actually fixed the problem, but I couldn't use it as my works software developed problems with me not being able to read the text as the letters were too similar in colour to the background.
I AM new to this and have bricked this phone about 50 times trying to fix the fault (and have learnt how to unbrick it!), but would REALLY like some input on how I might fix the issue.
I have tried about seven different Bluetooth headsets, including genuine Samsung ones, and the results have been the same.
Is that enough info for you?

First of all, JellyBlast is a banned rom here. So lets not have anymore discussion on that. As for the headset problem, you can use the SoundAbout app from Google Play. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
Thanks for the replies guys. I will have a go at the catlog later when I get home and post the results.
The problem doesn't happen every time so hear with me while I try to get it to do it so I can post the log.
Sorry for mentioning 'that' rom, I was just using that as a point of reference as it was the only rom I have tried.
The headset issue isn't that the headphones don't work though, it is that using the Bluetooth headset causes the phone to crash when answering a call (not making one though), and I thought that using the sounds out app was to fix the headphone socket issue?

Android 4.4.4 Strange calling Problem on Xperia U

Hello,
I got a very strange Problem.
When People call me, i can answer without Problems, even that wasnt since i started using android 4.4.4, but it started working when i smallered the dalvik cache and used low-ram attribute in build.prop.
But another Problem keeps:
I cant always call other people. I tip on the number, the phone app should open, but the Display keeps gray, with the status bar above, not more.
I cant cancel everything, the Phone seems to be fully crashed, but the guy gets the call, if he answers it, he hears me but i doesnt hear him !!!
So if i wont remove the battery fast enough, i also will pay for this call.
Anyone Problems with this behaviour ?
I got this Problem with every 4.2++ rom i tested, and i really dont know if it still persists with 4.1, because there is not really a rom which i would stay on (except the original ported xperia Z rom, which really sucks in design, apps, settings, etc)
I mean, am i the only one ? I think others should have this problem like me too, its a normal xperia U and i flashed the roms like they should be flashed.
I didnt found anything while googling, even on this side.

Nobody can hear me when calling, but microphone is not broken.

Hello,
I got this phone since my former one died without notice (coming from a 5 year old oneplus one), it's my god daughter's previous one.
Working good smooth and all on stock rom (seems to be carrier customed, bundled with carrier apps) : Sony XPeria X F5121 / android 8.0, build 34.4.A.2.118 Sept 1 2018 / kernel 3.10.84 Aug 24 2018
I have a slight problem : whenever I'm calling, I have to put the "hands free" mode with speakers otherwise nobody can hear me. I don't think the microphone is broken and I am thinking of a "bug" in the rom.
Before re-installing my apps, i could call and people could hear me. The phone app is the stock one.
If I speak right in front of the microphone, but like shouting, people can hear me but at very low level.
Searched a bit on the internet, but didn't find anything about this, some people say it is because other apps are conflicting, I tried to remove every app I can think of using the microphone (whatsapp, line, etc), but didn't changed a thing, tried to tune the "noise reduction" in google voice search, but didn't worked either.
If I try to audio call with whatsapp, facebook messenger lite or line, people can't hear me. Using google voice search works without flaws.
Before going for a reset factory or flashing the phone with custom rom, is there anything else I can try to solve the problem ?
problem still not fixed : looking for a replacement microphone. Anyone know how to replace the part ? If defective and I dreamt that it was working with factory reset, I will replace it.
Found this piece, but don't know where it can fit ? Do I have to solder it on the mainboard ???
Ok update :
1- the microphone part sold in the link is not correct, I don't think it fits.
2- I teared up the phone, to find some little "pearl" blocking the microphone ... after removing the pearl, microphone works flawlessly.
