Hello everyone.
I have recently bought Asphalt 8, I run it on high graphics, but still there are some fancy effects missing on my DROID DNA, like ground reflection. I tried to change build.prop model to GS4 (GT-I9505), as it runs the game at max settings, but unfortunately after changing it, phone doesn't boot. Is there something I do wrong? I changed it with root explorer and did everything right according to tutorial. May be changing it to GS4 is somehow impossible? I haven't tried anything else.
I use android 4.2.2 (ROM: NOS m7 v3.0.1 GSM Version)
Could please help me with this? May be changing build.prop in a different way?
Thanks in advance.

I was browsing around and stumbled onto this and was wondering if anyone here has seen it and tried it on the x2? http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?3203-APP-FREE-PropModder-by-n00bware-(UPDATED-9.19.11)
I can't see why it WOULDN'T work as it just seems to be something for editing the build.prop on rooted phones. It seems like it could simplify build.prop editing. I haven't downloaded yet to see what kind of edits can be made using the app but I imagine some of em HAVE to work.
Any thoughts on this?
I know I know I could just try it and see what happens lol but I was wondering if anyone here has tried it before.
I haven't tried that app specifically but I have used absolute system to edit the build.prop from my phone and it works great! I know you can use Jrummy's root tools as well.
[sent from my blurless DX2]
it is included in the oICS rom for nexus s 4g by aosp and seems to be working good
check out rom toolbox those features and much more

I don't even know why I started it in the first place...

Hi all!
Today I discovered this, script by zeppelinrox.
It sounds really cool, have you try it?
I've set it with balance3 option, now i gonna test
Some of you have already use it? with witch option?
It would be nice, if Galaxy 5 owners that have used this script, write here their feelings, so we could find our best settings!
I've upgraded with update9RC7, the last build, setting values from minutes calculator. I've also enables nitro and run Kak. See what happens
None of galaxy 5 owners have used that x script?
sent from Galaxy 5 using tapatalk
I have used it with the latest version, i don't know what did i do, but my phone got slower than before, y choosed option 6, and i didn't activate nitro lag or something like that, maybe if i just know how to use it my phone would get faster, or i don't know
Try use minfree calculator, option 10 i think on latest release, then activate nitro lag nullifier and do a complet wipe (there's an option for that too).
mine phone is getting faster
Hi, all! I've got a CDMA, Verizon razr, android version 2.3.6. I will be using a 64 bit Windows 7 pc to root. After much searching and reading first, I find myself a bit confused as to how I go about getting my razr rooted and all customized the way I want.
I successfully rooted my old droid X, and flashed Jrummy's Liberty rom onto it, loved it. I've decided to stick with GB, rather than going to ICS prior to rooting. These are the things I hope to be able to do with my rooted razr:
Use free wifi tether
Change that annoyingly long boot animation
Remove/freeze bloatware apps, like Blockbuster, NFL, etc.
Use Android Overclock, or a similar app
Change the theme of my razr to something spiffy-looking
Cosmetic tweaks such as changing the phone's font, changing the application icons, the battery indicator icon, and being able to assign different colors to the led notification light, such as green for new email, or blue for a missed phone call.
Nothing too fancy or advanced, really. I know I should backup the phone first, then root. Is there a certain method of rooting that would be ideal for me? Also, can I flash a rom after rooting, to change my phone's theme to something cooler than stock? Any recommendations for rooting, or roms?
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have no problem taking the time to search the forum for the answers first, as per the rules, I'm just kinda stuck, and could use a pointer in the right direction to get me started! Again, much thanks to everyone here at XDA Developers!

Hello all,
I've been stumped by a problem that I have encountered on my Nexus 7 32Gb (2012 version) which I have never encountered before.
I have recently done a reinstall of android 5.1 on it due to the fact that it was running horrendously after it updated from Jellybean to Lollipop. I used Nexus Root Toolkit to do so and it went fine. The tablet was running much faster and I again felt I could use it properly. However, just a few days ago I noticed that I could not store as much as I was able to before on it. Thinking that I had maybe forgotten a backup I looked on the space usage and I got the results in the first picture attached to this post.
Wanting to have more details I did a diskmap of my system using X-plore and I got the results in the second picture attached to this post.
It would seem that I have exactly the same files both in the "0" and the "Legacy" folders.
I did a bit of searching on that issue but the best explanation that I could come up with was that it was due to the multi user feature. However, I only have one user on this device (myself) and while Guest is still available to be selected, I have not done so and deleted a previous instance of it. I also did not have this problem before, and the multi user feature came out in Jellybean, if I am not mistaken.
I checked my dual sim Moto G (2014), that is running Android 5.0.2 and it is having the same issue from what I can see.
Has anyone experienced this type of problem before? Any idea on what I could do to resolve it?
Thanks in advance for your help on this.
Little bump (if it is allowed).
Anyone who can assist or has any idea?
I just recently upgraded from a rooted Pixel 6. New phone is rooted on Android 12 with Magisk. I noticed a lot of features I was previously using on my P6 is a subscription service, like photo editing in Photos and the Sound Recorder. Is there any way I can get these features without paying since I own a Pixel like copying the apps over with a root method? Does it look at build.prop or do pixels get a different version of apps with everything enabled? Let me know if I've posted in the wrong place, there's too many categories to choose from.

You could try this: https://github.com/Kingsman44/Pixelify
I've never used it, so I have no idea if it would work.
Hmm.. I'll look into it, thanks.
Thanks, it works like a charm!
