Hi all,
has anyone tried out driving mode? i am curious to what features it holds, for example if i'm not mistaken the nexus phone automatically opens the driving mode when its plugged into its car dock. does the galaxy s3 have this or something similar?
Thanks
Hi,
the connection via bluethooth to the sound dock works, but the music is played by the phone and not the sound dock. I am using resurrection remix 3.1.1 with a galaxy s2. The sound dock works with a S2 with samsung stock rom and also with my galaxy nexus 7. Is this a bug or some special setting?

Hi All,
I've been looking around and can't seem to find a solution to the problem I'm facing.
I own a i9300 Rooted Galaxy S3 with the latest nightly build of Cyanogenmod 10.1 on it.
I also own a Desktop Dock for my desk which has audio out, this line works perfectly, however when I try to use my car dock the audio out does not work. It recognizes it is a car dock opens my app and charges but the Audio line does not work.
I know the cable is not faulty as I have tried it on the stock Samsung firmware and it works perfectly.
So does anyone know if a car dock is much different to a desk dock in terms of outputting sound, and how I can fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
I got the same problem. I switched to omega rom and works fine there. I tried all roms based on open android project and no one works. But all roms vased on sammy firmware works
When using Omni Rom 4.4.2 my car bluetooth doesn't work like it should.
I can pair the 2 devices but normally there should be a question if my car bluetooth may use my contacts and so on. I have this message on Samsung Original Firmware and CM 10.2.
When I try to dial from my car radio (Opel) it does nothing.
Am I missing something?
Hi all,
I really want to get screen mirroring to work on my S3. The mirroring does start, but almost freezes. After 1 or 2 minutes the second frame appears on the screen while the S3 keeps running smoothly.
I've tried a few different Lollipop ROMs (5.0.1 to 5.1.1), but they all have the same issue.
Screen mirroring on my Oppo Find 7 running Lollipop (5.0.1) works just fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. Or even any ideas how too debug this?
Any help at all would be really appreciated.
Some background information:
I have build a 7" screen in my car dashboard with a Miracast dongle connected. I want to hide the S3 somewhere in the dashboard and add a lot of nice features, but I first need screen mirroring to work smoothly.
I've tried MHL, but MHL is only supported with stock Samsung ROMs and MHL interferes with GPS
