Verizon here. I'm new to GeeWiz and was wondering if someone could confirm that HaxSync works on it before I purchase it.

Sorry I posted this question on the development forum first....
Has anyone noticed that on rooted 1.1.0 touchdown is not syncing anymore? I'm sure it was working on my auto-nooted 1.0.1 but then I restored several times and now on the newly installed rooted 1.1.0 I can no longer sync my google contacts. I then tried it on nookie froyo and can not get it to work either. Can anyone with touchdown verify that?
Thanks!
I can't seem to get touchdown working after using autonooter and then applying the 1.1 update. It was working for me in 1.0.1

one problem I noticed on our exchange environment was every time I did a manual sync it created a new device partnership on the exchange server. At the time I was running 1.0.1 rooted though. I haven't tried 1.1 yet. If you have access to your exchange infrastructure you may want to check out how many device profiles you have associated with your account. Exchange I think has a set limit of 10 partnerships per user.
On a similar note touchdown doesn't seem to want to sync on froyo either. however I think it's having trouble getting past the 2010 device policies. Strange that it works on my hero.
I had problems setting up. Their support was phenomenal. So I would contact directly. Solution was their new beta release (not on market). Now works great for me on 1.1... TX didn't like wifi reset. Also contacts can be an issue if TX is reformatting on sync (then sync can take an hour and get stuck in a loop)
anyone find resolution to this problem?
I am having the same issue. Touchdown works fine on my Evo but nook color cant even initialize activesync now. This used to work on 1.0.1 but would create new partnerships every sync.
We are running Lotus Notes at work (I will accept all the pity that anyone cares to give me). We have version 8.x and have Lotus Traveler servers up and running. The Lotus Traveler software on android leaves a few things to be desired.
Traveler server can speak standard ActiveSync. The problem is that the Gingerbread and Froyo versions of the Exchange setup on android broke the ability to put in a custom URL for the "exchange/traveler" server.
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=14486
Is anyone aware of any way around this? I would like to remove the traveler software and just use the built in email app with my lotus email. There are some apps that you can run on the android that will use ActiveSync to work with a traveler server but I really wanted to use the built in email app if possible.
Maybe someone who developed a custom Email.apk that allowed for a manual server URL?
Thank you.
Working EMail.apk
Hi,
I had the same problem. I patched the current EMail.apk from Gingerbread, now it works for all my Traveller Accounts. This version is the Galaxy Tab version, but should also work on smaller devices.
Have fun,
Bender.

Thank you. How does one install this? Do I need to remove the old Email.apk or can I install this one over the top? (phone is rooted but does not have custom rom or kernel)
Problem with BodyPreference
Hi,
I have one more problem with the current app.
I get only Mime Encoded EMails and they are not displayed correctly.
I have to first work this out, then you can use the app.
When you have a roote phone, all you have to do is go to /system/app
delete Email.apk and Email.odex (if you have one), then copy the new Email.apk to this plays. Open Email.apk, the app is installed and then reboot your device.
Bender.
Awesome. Thank you for working on this.
Any luck making this work?
I have a Lotus Notes Traveler account and i'm trying to make use of the built-in email in ICS. All my calendar entries and mail headings are syncing just fine but there's no visible body to be read in any email.
Anyone with a solution?
Nobody?

Hi,
I am on stock ICS Galaxy Note and want to use my lotus notes using native email client but I am not able to sync because my company uses port number in server name like :
mail.mydomain.com:15001/servlet/traveler
if i put :15001 the mail client Next button gets disabled any fix for this?
Same here.... This custom port is killing me... You could try setting a port forwarding from another computer, setting ot as you server.
Not sure it will work, but it might.
Also if anyone here has the latest LotusTraveler.apk (v. 8.5.3.2) could you please post?

Hey guys!
I recently flashed my HD2 with a Cyanogen based ROM - Hyperdroid - which I recommend whole heartedly. Before that I had a Sense based one which I did not like that much..
However, laggy and clunky as it was it did have something I really appreciated: an app to migrate contacts and sms from previous phones and a nice contact aggregator (not sure if I can call it that) that paired facebook contacts with phone contacts.
I was wondering if any of you fine folks knew about a similar app available from the market or somewhere else. Thanks!

Have a look at Call Logs Backup & Restore and SMS Backup & Restore, both available in the Market.
I currently use NexusHD2 CyanogenMod 9 ICS by tytung and the Gingerbread versions (non-cyanogen) before it and I always migrated SMS and contacts with these apps though Google also restores contacts.
Thanks But what I was looking for is an app to import data from another - in this case non-android - phone.. Any ideas?
To say this is coming late is would be the biggest understatement of the decade. I believe you did find a solution at some point but for anyone else who is interested, "Bluetooth File Transfer" by Medieval Software has a option for exploring another devices data over Bluetooth.
Found it when I used Java-based feature phones in the past but realised it works on Android too.
Why do you need an app for this? You can just sync your contacts with gmail which is the best way to keep your contacts. I used this method between android and iphone. Other than that I used windows programs before I used gmail where you export the contacts to the pc then import them to another device or something like that. Syncing with gmail is the best choice though.
Hey, kind of new here. I'm having issues adding facebook account data. I'm running Team Hacksung's Build 15, and when I try to add a facebook account, nothing happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Having same problem - on CM9 nightly dated 040612. Did you find a resolution?

The feature has to b supported by the rom its self for it to work. Facebook no longer supports contact sync for ics.

As said in the previous post Facebook no longer supports syncing for ICS. Som roms have a hack built in that let it sync anyway though. If it is not working for you I would suggest the apps FriendCaster or haxsync(Free and paid respectivley) I tried both of these on my girlfriends phone after her Nexsus S got the updatem and while she did like the FriendCaster she likes haxsync way better
Hello,
I'm running CM9 19042012 nightly with default kernel. I have linked my work Lotus Notes email to the built in email in CM9 via Exchange. Sync works fine, the widget also (LN Traveler widget crashes on ICS) but the message body is not shown in both widget and email app.
I have found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1228531
but i'm unsure if this will work on ICS (CM9). Even if it does work, i think i'll need to replace the email.apk every time i update to a newer nightly.
The idea is to get Lotus Notes mailbox on my phone and have a working widget, since the widget from Lotus Traveler doesn't work on custom launchers (from what i have read around).
If anybody has any ideas, i would appreciate it. Thanks.
For what it's worth, here seems to be the answer:
www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd85forum.nsf/DateAllFlatWeb/746003993643d179852579b2004d1cff?OpenDocument
Long story short, Traveler server must be updated to fixpack 2 so the issue with the ICS built in email/widget will not appear.
