How to block update - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hey guys semi new to the forum I have my s4 rooted with no custom rom... how do I block the push software updates? They keep popping up and would really like to get rid of them thanks to all who reply

Freeze delete or rename sdm.apk in system/app

You had your notification turned off. Pull down the status bar and turn it on, it'll go away

Not really helpful what you are writing guys :banghead:
What you mean by tricks? If you root your phone you could ad free your phone or undervolt it and many other things, but without rooting there is nothing special you can do

Trow the phone up in the air, and count how many times you can clap your hands before you have to catch it.

there is an option some where in the device where you can phone people, havn't figured it out yet though

I'm guessing it's because you're on the LL4 OTA which patched the exploit. Follow the guide in development.

[Q] How to return to 100% stock?

Now that I will be rooting my GN2, I was just wondering if there is something that will unroot it. This is just in case, God forbid, something BAD should happen! Now it needs to be going back to 4.1.2, thanks again in advance, this forum really does help me, YOU GUYS ROCK!!

I notice that this is to go back to 4.1.1....will this work for my 4.1.2? Maybe it will put me back to 4.1.1 and then I could just update it again to 4.1.2! :fingers-crossed:

yes he is always here to lend a hand. also if and when there is a updated odin image available I will update the guide...for now all we have is 4.1.1 to fall back on.

Anyone with i527 on MH1 Firmware

Is anyone available with i527 on MH1 firmware that can give me a hand pulling files?

haha bootloader, doubtful as my experience is very limited there but i will be trying to support the development effort as much as possible with my busy sechedule

A device I have at work that I am working on is on MH1 and in the midst of working with the files, hit a bootloop and my backed up files disappeared. Once I have the files again I can push them in and pull out of the loop but in the mean time I am in a holding pattern

Hi i got the mk2 odin flashable. its not mh1 but will get you out of bootloop.
