Hi all. Can the motherboard from an XT910 be put in an XT912 and all other parts connect and function correctly? Basically, I've exhausted all of my Google searching skills trying to find a way to make my XT912 operate on a GSM carrier in the U.S. and I've come to the conclusion that I should get XT910 motherboards and put them in my XT912's since it's cheaper than buying the whole phone. I plan to order the boards off ebay and need to know if I can just swap the boards or whether there is more to it. BTW this is my first post so I apologize if it's in the wrong place. Thanks in advance for your help.
Not sure is that is possiible ... and with all that mess imo an used xt 910 phone is better option

It is possible for sure. I am using a XT910 mainboard in XT912 housing and display without a problem. :good:
Hi,
Sorry if this is a repost!
I replaced my charging port on my S2 and now the phone charges properly but the network doesn't seem to work.
I am currently on T-Mobile and the phone works if I use an o2 sim card, when I search for the available networks only o2 and Vodafone appear, I double checked the Antenna on the phone to make sure it's connected properly.
What do you think could be the problem? Do you think the charging port is faulty or the Antenna cable got messed up while replacing the Charging dock?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
I got no reply, does that mean no one knows?
It means be patient. Only a few people (that I can think of) who post here even semi-regularly, and this forum doesn't get anywhere near the amount of people looking/posting as it used to given this phone was released 3 yrs ago, have the knowledge to give you a useful reply, everyone else will just be feeding you guesses or outright crap.
Wait until someone who is familiar with this kind of thing to see your thread & respond.
Edit - Point proven.
I'm not a phone expert, but check your sim lock. try other rom maybe or updated version.
Another thing, try other sim card and see if that one works.

Hello to all,
I just bought this phone h t t p://es.pandawill.com/x1-smartphone-mtk6589-android-42-50-inch-hd-screen-130mp-camera-3g-black-p90367.html from China but I can't find a ROM for it, not even a company called X1.
I found out it has the same casing as a Pomp W99 but different specifications. There are similar models but never exactly the same.
I was wondering if any of you knew anything about this phone and what could be done to upgrade it.
Thank you.
I have searched eBay and Google with various searches but have found nothing. My g3 Sim card readers pins have been damaged and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to buy a lot for repair. I can find replacement parts for many other phones but not the g3. Anyone have a link or know how to obtain this part? Or maybe even how to fix it? I got the phone very cheap to use as a media device but if I can fix it I would use it. Thanks a lot.
Probably need a whole new motherboard
OP, did you get your phone repaired? If so, where and how much was it?
Hi there,
This is my first post in XDA. I bought a used Verizon Z2 tablet and was very excited about using it, until I figured out that the tablet is missing the Sim Tray to activate it with Verizon. From then I have been researching online to find a spare sim tray.
1) Does the Z2 support Micro Sim or Nano?
2) I am not able to find a spare nano sim tray online, Can anyone help me to find a link where I can buy it?
3) If one of the forum members are using the tablet just for Wifi, Can you lend me your sim tray, I will be really thankful for your Help.
Thanks for any help in Advance. U guys really ROCK :cyclops:

I suspect this would work but I can't say for 100% sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SIM-Holder-...123?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25941e372b
I already tried a similar one from ebay. It didn't even fit in the slot that my tablet has. Thanks for your help though
Can anyone atleast attach a picture of their sim tray on this post. It will really help me identifying next time if I come across one.
