[Q]Most optimized ROM? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi devs and pros,
I have only a simple questions for those rom freaks and flashaholics.
Which rom is the most optimized one in your opinion, and why?
So only tweaks like linaro, bionic or skia are important - I don't care about ui/ux enhancements!
Thank you

[mod] Turbo Prop

I've tested this on my TP AOKP build, and seems to work great.. I'm curious to see who else can confirm its helping out and not just a placebo effect. It's built for he HTC Rezound but is generic enough to apply to other androids.

I've had a look at the zip and I'm by no means an expert it seems like it just adds some extras to the build.prop so yeah the tweaks work.
Ive installed the famous V6 supercharger script and its made a massive difference
The tweaks in the zip will certainly help out net based stuff

[Q] Need a rom

I love Halo of PA, game performance of SnowJB and Sweep2Wake (or doubletap2wake) of NHkernel.
Can anyone tell me which rom have these features (
Any ROM with xposed framework can have pa halo or its already embedded into the ROM itself...some ROMs aren't working good with gaming, snowJB seems to be the best (from what I hear)..I've never used it.

[Q] Is anyone working on a Sense 5.5 KK Kernel?

I was just wondering if we had anyone working on a sense kit kat kernel with features such as GPU overclock and DoubleTap2Wake as they are very useful features and I do not know how to compile kernels myself.

Anyone else having core 0 and core 3 always on...I was expecting core 3 to go offline and it sits at 300 like core 0....I would expect only one core online while sleeping

I just checked the stock kernel and it is the same. 0 and 3 on and off while 1 and 2 are in sleep mode.

Slesh, think you could tweak core 3 to go offline when sleeping?

I would just suggest getting on one of my Rom releases. Knox is gone from that, just having Knox removed from kernel's Ramdisk doesnt remove it from Rom you're on so you will get that
Edit: are you referring to when phone boots? Or when
After the boot. It comes randomly when using my phone. It's all good I Google and just removed Knox with titanium. Thanks though! Kernel is good so far. Haven't messed with the govs yet

Im actually workin through em myself, things are a bit diff for me than the exynos' ive grown accustomed to. On those I would almost exclusively run pegasusq, but that is not the case now so im testing back and forth. Been giving Smartmax a go. I have a feeling unless we're using performance or conservative the biggest diff we'll see won't be battery life, but rather responsiveness etc under load, scaling between these govs is fairly diff
So I guess we'll just have to share as we go
I don't know if its the ROM, the Kernel or both but I feel like my phone is a lot snappier! Thanks for the hard work!

AFAIK This is built from source, no rom toolboxes or kitchens used. But @sleshepic can correct me if I am wrong.

Hey mate
I've tested your kernel against RR 5.0 for vzw but I just can't seem to figure one thing. The scrolling lag
Ive tried every single setting there is to improve scrolling kernel related and flashed a fair amount of roms to test this but it just doesn't work out.
The scrolling lags on most apps I use. This kernel is absolutely better than the others ive tried but it just doesn't diminish this factor altogether.
What am I doing wrong? Is it something we have to live with cause I desperately need some CM love but this holds me back

Any idea why Qi charging works on stock but not on AOSP for the VS985? Does the kernel have to do anything with it?
