I choose att gps config and rebooted.
Still nothing.
did you try turning on google location services in settings?
Everything is on.
GPS doesn't seem to work. Too bad. I really like this rom. Very fast and stable.
Confirmed issue. Experiencing same problem. Can not get a lock. Loaded gps configuration from tools, used gps status and gps test, still no go. :-(
For me when this happens I Odin back to stock and then reflash. Has worked each time I get a screwed up gps
download faster fix from the market, and set to north american..
if that doesn't fix it, download GPS status from the market, then go to tools/Manage A-GPS state, reset. Reboot your phone, then go back to GPS Status app, and tools/manage A-GPS state, download...
let it download the info it needs, then try opening Maps and see if you get a GPS lock...
if haven't tried yet, use this

Thanks friend, I'll try it.
hello all.......not sure if there is a thread like this already, did a search and didnt see anything on how to get the note gps to lock on better that actually worked for me. since switching to a JB rom my GPS has been horrible. i did an online search and came across an app called FasterFix. i actually used two apps......the GPS Status app and the app called FasterFix. GPS Status worked ok by itself but when i used the FasterFix app with it i get a lock as soon as i open any maps app and its always spot on to my location. this is the best ive ever had my GPS working on any version of android ive had. if your having problems with your GPS give this a try and see if it helps. Worked for me!
FasterFix - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Double.FasterFix&hl=en
GPS Status - https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lY2xpcHNpbS5ncHNzdGF0dXMyIl0.
Good one!
faster fix changes the ntp server. so only needed when you have flashed.
this next step can be done as often as you like.
GPS status- go into settings-tools-manage a-gps-reset
go into settings-tools-manage a-gps-download
exit program.
turn off gps.
turn on gps.
profit. (you may need to restart phone)
gps test also has the a-gps reset/download feature in it.
Also try some of the gps.conf files floating on here to see if it helps.:silly:
Looks like my gps can't locate since I've updated to lollipop (5.0.2).
It just continually says "Searching for GPS".
This happens with High accuracy (with WIFI networks), and just GPS alone.
Anyone had this issue/has a fix?
Running stock kernal with TWRP recovery

Tried this:
*#9090#
Menu, select Key Input, enter Q0000
wait for the next menu. (It takes a while.)
UE SETTINGS & INFO->SETTING->SYSTEM->NV REBUILD->1
Restart the phone.
The first (cold) fix should take about 20-30 seconds.

Didn't really help.
GPS gets lock, after around 2 minutes (sometimes).
I tried Safe mode also (to see if apps were interfering), but it didn't help.

How come I have to do this every time the phone is restarted? It's a pain when I change battery once a day.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the GPS not working? The phone is able to determine my current location but is unable to actually navigate anywhere. Google maps never shows an arrow to indicate the GPS is locked. I've also used several Gps app to help correct it. I've done multiple resets and app updates I've even sent the phone back to Nokia twice just for them to tell me nothing is wrong. My phone is running the latest update as of March 11. Please help!

Review your 'Location' settings.
Go to Settings - - > Security & Location
Look for Location (it should say On) press to open Location menu screen, review all options shown.
Near bottom of list look for Scanning and select. This will bring up options to use wifi and Bluetooth to scan for positioning. Turn them both on.
They help even when not using. System uses to triangulate (better identify location).
Also check 'Google Location Accuracy'. I know from experience if that selection is off GPS will work, but navigation Apps are fairly useless.
Some suggestions. Hope it helps.

Tried all of that to no avail. They were already on so switched them off then on, checked maps, restarted phone and checked again.

Mod edit - translated by https://translate.google.com/:
Hello, I have this problem too, there is no solution
**************************
你好,我也遇到同样的问题,没办法解决。
turn off: Google Location Accuracy, GPS will working.
when open google maps, it will ask to turn on Google Location Accuracy .... select NO!!!
On my device, this worked. Download the app "GPS Test" from F-Driod (might be in Play Store? I never looked...) https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.android.gpstest.osmdroid/
In the app, click the "Clear assist data" wait a few minutes. I've waited between 1 - 20 minutes in the past. The GPS redoes all it's data and starts working again for me.
I had the same problem. Contacted Nokia, it's a known problem caused by an update.
About a month ago I received a new update and since then everything GPS related is working fine again.
I had the same problem and sent my phone to repair. They confirmed the issue and corrected it. Since then the GPS works well.

Everything worked well up to today. Since today same problem again. No GPS signal... Nothing seems to get it back working again... Big disappointment!
