I got a Lumia 800 and the phone doesnt turn on, doesnt react for charging, buttons pressing and resetting. The phone wasnt flashed and the WP wasnt modified. Unfortunately the warranty has expired. What can I do? I have read an older topic but i didnt find the solution. Thank you

Well there are not much options left, my suggestion is to use Nokia Software Updater, you can download it from here: http://www.seidea.com/2013/07/14/nokia-software-updater-for-retail-3-08/
Wish you luck and keep us informed,

As far as I could tell from the comments the Exploid root would work even after I had updated with the newly available official OTA for my E10i. It took 3 tries to download the OTA on the phone. The phone then said it would begin the update and then it turned itself off. It has been off now for the last hour and any attempt to wake it has been fruitless. How is OTA supposed to work anyway? How long should the update take and how should it proceed? How can I get my phone to respond again?
I had a bit more luck ... On my german phone ota say 'update not possible' so I use seus and it works. Maybe you can use seus to debrick your phone
Sent from my E10i
At this point I really don't know what to do. The phone won't turn on no matter what I try. Aren't you supposed to be able to reset the phone by holding power and the middle button on the front? When I do that the phone gives a short vibration but then nothing else happens.
I was able to plug the phone into my computer and get it recognized by the SE Update Service program. I performed a Factory Reset + Update (twice), but the phone is still not turning on. Guess I need to contact support.
When you say "not turning on", does it get stuck after the boot anim? That's totally normal on the first boot for Android. When I last did a SEUS update it took about 5 minutes before the homescreen appeared
No, what I meant was that there was absolutely no picture of any kind on the display at all.
Anyway, time heals old wounds or something, because suddenly after 2 hours of not doing anything it suddenly started working again. I've even managed to get root now. Hooray.

Hi People of the world! As you can see im new to here so yeah i just might be in the wrong section...
So, I just got my shiny android a week ago, and know it sits on my desk, lifeless, like a brick. Like literally its dead! I don't know if I can fix it or the BIOS (if theres one in Samsung Galaxies) is fried, or maybe the motherboard is fried, or the battery overcharged, etc. But I just cant do anything! I'm totally out of ideas!
Heres the problem, I first rooted my android successfully, and played around with my android a while. But as you expect I just coudn't wait for the jelly bean update! So, I desided I would give a try to take the Russian firmware instead. That was already a bad idea, but I read on some threads that it would work fine, so I downloaded one from Sammobile.com. The real mistake? I downloaded the wrong phone. I own a Samsung Galaxy S Advance NFC Version;GT-I9070P The one I downloaded was UnNFC version; GT-I9070. Well, I didn't realize that, and proceeded with entering download mode and eventually flashing the PDA file from Sammobile with ODIN. So I pressed start. It started the process, and after 5 min it said in blue: RESET. I saw the phone rebooting. Now, another big mistake: I started touching the power button, which I shouldn't have done. Then, instead of waiting, as soon as seeing the thing wasnt booting, I took out the battery and unplugged the USB cable. Then after a while the PASS appeared in green. So it went successfully? NONONO Now it wont boot! More specifically, it wont TURN ON! like it wont whow any sign of life. As if it had no battery or USB.
Today I discovered, If I hold Vol UP+Power+Home when its connected to my PC, it makes the beep, shows that it failed to install the driver for "U8500 USB ROM" What the (*^&(&%*(&^&* is that??? Also, in 5 seconds, the device disappears, meaning that I must hold the button combo for another 20 seconds.
So, I've got no connectivity to ODIN, nor Kies, and I cant go into download mode, nor recovery mode.
Any Help?
Pleeaase if you can help youre a super god of androids!
ok, so if I understand correctly, You can't even turn on a phone - no samsung logo, no yellow triangle, nothing, right?

Exactly. Nothing at all.
The only evidence that its not fried is that the computer detects it as U8500 USB ROM for 5 seconds whenever i hold the power button or any combination. Nothing on the phone though.

I've just repeated exactly the same steps as the OP on my GT-9070P and have "successfully" bricked my two-week-old phone. If someone happens to find a solution, please share. :crying:

Ikr its really bad to break your phone as soon as i get it. Worse, for me its a few of days to my birthday! Worse thing that could happen. I will PM you if i happen to find a good solution. Also, to make it really the worst thing, the GT-I9070 is one of the less popular phones (not like the s3). The NFC version? Even rarer! So not only are there not many developers working for that phone, not many people have really encountered problems with the phone at all.

Please help! I also bricked my Samsung S Advance I9070P after downgrading from JB to GB, since JB was updated for India I9070...but the phone bricked after downgrade. Everything was successful and it had auto-rebooted after the downgrade and stuck with Start up screen. When I removed battery and tried again..it bricked! No recovery mode, No download mode, no power on.

So you find any solution? I have a similar problem right now.
So i updated my phone for 2 apps i think they were nokia apps. Anyway it rebooted i wasn't paying much attention but its just stuck in the start up Nokia part.
What to do.....
Go to nokia forum
Go to the nokia forum, choose english or another language, then search the forum, no doubt the question has been answered already. if not, a nokia person can help.
http://discussions.nokia.com/
have you tried performing a soft reset (pressing the volume down and power buttons together until the phone vibrates)? if that doesn't work, then you can try taking the battery out and replacing it after ten or so minutes.
failing that, you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

Leave it for a few hours and let it do it's thing. If that doesn't work then hold the Volume + button and the POWER button together, the phone should reboot, and gears should vanish. If none of these work, go to Nokia support and explain your problem, they wont bite

press and hold both on the volume down button and power key for about 10 seconds.
The phone should then reboot. When the nokia logo appears press the below sequence
Volume up
Volume down
Power key
Volume down
Make sure that you try this while the phone is charged.
When I did this... the gears continued to spin for about 5 minutes, but then the phone restarted and made it back to the "Welcome to your phone" screen. Success!
This actually happened to me yesterday after AT&T released the GDR2 firmware update.
The gears spun for about 2 hours before I finally did the Volume Down + Power reboot.
Unfortunately, it didn't ever recover - or so I thought.
Giving it about 5-6 minutes after each reboot (and trying to Volume Up, Volume Down, Power, Volume Down sequence during reboot several times), about 2 more hours later, it suddenly started booting.
However, I am now in an indeterminate Firmware state...
I "have Amber" and some mess of Firmware. But I'm missing many major features of GDR2 (like the FM Radio, Glance works, but no Double Tap to Wake, no Data Sense).
Nokia Pro Camera won't work - says I need "to check for updates on my phone"...
Anyhow, I'm now going to figure out if I can flatten the phone and get a successful flash if I can back up some of the personal data in it first.
Yay for working phone!
Weird for the firmware state it's in...

Same thing happened to me. Did a reset and it locked up.
There is a fix. with the Nokia Care Suite files.
hi xda-fans,
i spent a lot times in reading this forum and the knowledge and helpful members are great and i found a lot to learn.
now i have som issues with my phone i couldn't solve by myself and created an account and i'm going to hope you could help me with it(sry for my bad english).
situation:
i bought a nokia lumia 920 from ebay and it was provider locked by ee. god luck i could remove the lock with the help of ee-support.
for better country support(germany) i flashed it with an free euro rom and it works fine.
after a while it seems to be locked and the screen changed through the menus and i can't do anything to stop it.... even shut down with touch was not possible... i turned off wifi and after that i was able to shut down with hardware-keys.
i thought, there was a bad app on my phone and i reset it to factory settings.
after that it works well again... but after a while again the phone reacts without my touching.
hmm.. maybe the rom (downloaded with nokia care suit/ navifirm) was compromited or what else ever...
ok... i used the windows/nokia phone recovery tool to flash the original rom...
but same shemata... for a while it works well and then... someone remotes my phone... everytime this happens only if it were connected to wifi, wpa2 64bit-key...
1. for now i'm sure someone remotes my phone, but
2. how is it possible, even with factory reset
3. how can i prevent it
i hope you skilled "mindfreaks" could help me
is it possible to write into a protected zone in the phone, so it doesn't matter to or how often i do the factory reset?
greetings

This, and you can network analyse all traffic to and from your phone. But I would also expect it to be something with your touchscreen. *try a simple, disconnect, reconnect the digitizer* maybe just a dirty connector.
and with the recent hack root hack, root it, and place a fresh clean rom on it, by yourself. then unroot it again (or let it be). You could then be kinda sure that the bootloader is "clean" aswell.
