How can I get Photoshop touch to work on my note?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
Convince Samsung to release ICS. It requires android 3.1 or higher.
Thx, I was wondering why I couldn't get it to work.

Why "wondering"? It clearly states "Requires Android: 3.1 and up". Always look in the About This App in the right hand column of the Live Market\Android Market\whatever it's called store.

I installed the official ICS release for the Galaxy Note today (the Samsung OTA thing), and Photoshop still isn't available for my device. Now what?

You're in the wrong forum - this is the AT&T Galaxy Note forum. But in any case, you can either edit your build.prop to a different device or the DPI settings to spoof the Play Store into thinking that your phone is the tablet, or purchase the app with a tablet, and sideload it.
I got it working on note I got the application but don't want to get in trouble google it it does work

I have it working just fine. I just installed it normally and it boots up and runs great. Works awesome with the spen. I used it with DaGr8's rom and now with appdroid's rom and all is running well. Great app to have.

I'm running it on DAGr8's Hybrid RC4 in tablet mode at 213dpi. I haven't run into any issues yet.
Did I find it on the market? No.
Will I buy it once it's available? Yes.
I currently have an Galaxy note I717 on Bell in Canada.
Its on Gingerbread.
What steps do I have to take to make Photshop touch work on the note.
Also after bell releases the update to ICS will I be able to download and use photshop touch since I am on 4.0.
Anyone with a note on legit ICS that can get Photoshop Touch.
I have been running it on my note since day one. Since the app won't let us pay for it, I submitted a request to them to have this fixed because it did work on the GB build I was running before. I just searched for the APK and installed it, simple. Mind you, I would like to pay for it, but they have yet to fix the issue.
Was wondering if the game is compatible. I dont have Evo LTE but I'm hoping the game works on it. This might be my next phone in the next few days.

Unfortunately my friend it does not. I think it's a glitch though because google play says it's compatible. I wrote gameloft and will likely hear from them tomorrow

Got this response from them which doesn't tell us anything we don't know
Thank you for your interest in Gameloft games. Unfortunately, this game is not available on your type of phone. Our development team work on bringing new games on all types of phones. Hopefully, this game will be released on your phone too. Please check our site for other great games for your phone.
To see games selection please enter Gameloft.com into the search engine of your browser directly on your device. If some game is not listed, it's no use trying to get it. It will not work and it is not meant to work. We'll release it later specifically on your type of phone.

Works fine for me. I found it on the net somewhere and installed it, let it download the 1 GB of extra data it needed, and it's been playing fine for me. You need to make sure you get the right version for any of the games you are trying to play. Often the version numbers are like 1.2.3 1.2.4, etc. that last number generally corresponds to the model the build is for, so 1.2.3 is not necessarily an older version than 1.2.4, it's just how they label it.
This game runs very badly on my evo... Also GTA 3
The Optimum app with live streaming has been released for the kindle fire. Any chance one of our talented devs can make it work on the prime? Seems like it works on the nexus 7 so far as per the kindle fire forum. Here is the link:

I get the same error on mine. I know the devs have been able to "fix" the same types of limitations on Netflix, Hbo Go, and Max Go in the past. Hopefully one of them will be able to "fix" this app as well.
I hope a dev can make this happen. It would be awesome!

I submitted a ticket to Rockstart, who claims that SCH-i605 on Verizon in the US is supported, and they weren't aware it wasn't showing up in the play store (really?! am I the only one that bothered to submit a ticket). They said they'll work on it but have no timeframe on it. This is BS, and I'll just.... Mod edit... Comments removed

They're a bunch of [email protected] I saw their supported device list and also followed the instructions on their twitter support to open a ticket on 12/12 to provide the specific model number so they can add to Google Play compatibility list. They replied to check the supported device list so I had to explain that I followed merely followed their twitter support instructions. Next day they replied that they will update Google Play within the next few days. 12/18 I get an email that the case had been closed and to rate their support and as of today 12/21 it's still not listed as compatible. Funny thing is all the different carrier Note IIs have the same Exynos 4412 SoC CPU/GPU so it's pretty much guaranteed compatibility. Don't know what their malfunction is other than they don't want our money.

It's physically compatible, they just have a flag set on their purchase requirement somwhere that says our device isn't. Knowing how software requirements work, I promise there is a set of specs that Google Play ensures our devices meets before offering an App. While our device meets all the physical specs, I bet there is some missing item that is unique to the Verizon model, such as our particular model number. People could test my theory if there was a way to trick play into thinking you were a different model number. Anyone know how to achieve that?
I sent an email to the developers on the day of release because our phone was listed as compatible in their description. They asked for my model number and said it would be available in a couple of days. Still nothing.

I have it running on mine with no issue. It wasn't compatible on the Play Store, but I just emulated another device with Bluestacks, then transferred the APK to my Note II.
I sent a email to them the second day of releasing and I got no reply then a week later I get this "We at rockstar do not know the release date of vice city for your specific device but we are trying hard to get it to all android users" I was like on f*ck it ill keep playing gta 3.
Sent from my rooted, and unlocked Vzw note 2 running beans Rom! U mad?
I have not installed this game on here, but when I installed it on my tablet which was supposedly supported it didn't run. I downloaded a pirated copy of it and it worked fine. I emailed Rockstar and told them what I had done. They offered me a refund, but I declined it lol.
I just got my VZW Note II today to replace my VZW GS3.
I find it interesting that currently, GTA: Vice City is compatible with my GS3 but not my Note II and for Max Payne, its vice versa.
I hope they make both games compatible with both phones soon. This fragmentation can be a pain at times.
Guys if your rooted just edit your build.prop to the N7105, reboot, download the app, change your build.prop back, reboot and profit!

Here try it. Its the one I'm using to get the game (as you can tell by my signature). Just back up your build.prop by adding .bak at the end of your original one (im sure you know this already), extract the zip and put the build.prop in. Make sure the permissions are correct. Then reboot and go n get the game! Haven't been able to stop playing it

Modding the framework is extremely simple. Just do a edit the small lines which takes about 10 seconds, reboot n bam there it is its not hard at all. N the reason he got boot loops was because he didn't fix permissions. But you can go ahead and pirate the game n be the reason why we don't have some of the great games and apps iOS has that android doesn't. Because of piracy

We don't have as many games as iOS because optimizing a game for one phone (latest iPhone) is easier than trying to optimize a game for 5+ flagship phones that have different resolutions, hardware and OS.
You don't even need to jailbreak anymore to pirate apps on an iOS device.

This particular case is not one of development. The game has been ported and works on all Galaxy Note 2s, and was ported by Rockstar. In fact, you can find it on the play store for the other Galaxy Note 2s. I have even run it on mine after pirating it, but they've screwed up and it doesn't appear in the play store so I can't legitimately install it.
I submitted a ticket as well days after it was released. After going back I was told it will be added in a few days, then in a few days the ticket was closed but it still didn't work. There was now way to reply to the ticket so I just gave up.
Hello. I am using a Samsung Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and I updated my Google Play Music app to the update released on May 15th (the one with the "All Access" feature and ever since then it keeps crashing. It is completely unusable. I have tried everything I could think of. I was on CM 10.1 nightlies, then i went back completely to stock, I've unrooted, wiped, uninstalled, re installed, and every other idea I could think of. If someone knows any information that could help I would greatly appreciate it. (Note that I have root and am running on stock Touchwiz so I can post a logcat if you need me to, also all of the other Play Music versions worked just fine for me.
P.S. The new update for May 21st did not fix the issue at all.
I, too, have the same problem on all of my devices running the latest version, which range from a Dell Streak on 2.2 through a Note 2, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and HTC One S. I think it doesn't like that I'm in the UK, as it doesn't seem to be device specific.

That would be silly but make sense.
Luckily, I can roll back updates on some devices. It's not the end of the world because I can still access my music but if I only had one of these and if I wasn't able to, I'd be more than a little upset about it!

Yes they did. I've checked that it works on my Nexus 4 (as I can uninstall updates) and although it took a long time to let me in the first time, it's working. So that's good. Thank you.
