[Q] Canvas HD rear camera issue after flashing ROM - Micromax A116

I installed SGalaxyCHD rom on my brand new canvas HD and when I opened my camera the image was very dim and all green. IT was all fine with Stock ROM
My friend was also using this ROM on his CHD without any problem.
Then I installed SamflareV2 and the problem was solved..it again worked gr8.
Now i installed SamflareV3 and again the problem is back. and my friend has also flashed V3 without any problems.
Can anyone guide me with this issue??
Edit: I tried VACS Note 3 ROM and the same issue with me and not with my friend..we followed exactly same steps!! Is my phone faulty??

Hey! I have the same problem.. And so far.. Haven't got a single fix.. So I started using roms with 8mp camera..

When you purchased your CHD? In their new CHD devices micromax have changed camera hardware. Will give you a link of official software shortly which have backwards camera compatibility. Might be in the ROMs in which your camera not working properly, you need to replace camera files with my provided link.

if your a stater for this thing then i would advice you to go to the service centre and get it fixed or else even if you want to try it out you can search for your device in the xda forums and find all the things from rooting to installing a custom rom or stock rom,but be careful.
Search google for "gsm hosting" or gsm forum. I dont remember which one, but srarch it. You will got a website on top. Open it
If it is written gsm(something) with blue colur icon, than you are on right place.
Wait im remembering how I downloaded it.
(Im not messing with you cuz I use my ninja 3.5 to surf. So it is difficult to rememr things caught by my hvga displY.)
Yeah.
Go to android development
Then micromax
Then choae micromax a54
Download frimware. Aprail edition, not january. One.
Ok.
Trying to get link from my download history, wait.
Goto forum.gsmhosting.com
Ok. Download any frimware. Good luck, bye

Micromax A116 Rooting issue

Guys,
I was using Canvas HD with root without any issues. I thought i'll make some changes and installed the Mega HD rom.
Everything looks great, and better than the stock rom. But I'm not able to get root access anymore. I tried installing the superuser files through CWM again. But no use. Can someone help me out with getting root access on Mega HD rom?? I use titanium backup to backup my apps and without it i cannot restore any of my apps.
Thanks.
Any help guys? I love this ROM. But may have to go back to stock

[q] micromax canvas magnuas a117

I was using the stock Rom on my phone when I enabled navigation bar using gravity box and rebooted and it never got ahead of the canvas Magnus boot animation ...I had been through this and I used to backup the Rom and then restore it... And it would get the job done .. But it didn't ... I tried just flashing Rom without data and everything... I even installed mini Rom which was on my phone but even it got bootloop...so I transferred the galaxy s4 Rom and thankfully it worked... Now should I try 'restoring the backup once more?? Please tell me what was the problem.. Thanks :good::good:
Bro if u want to install stock rom then install official rom link given on XDA and root official rom do not restore ur old backup ur backup is also damaged so again nd again you'll get boot loop
