(Rooted/TWRP 2.6.3.0/Moonshine S-OFF)
When I use either the speakerphone or a headset, the mic mutes itself, but only with stock ROMS.
I'm currently running Beanstalk, and both functions work flawlessly. I've also tried it with CM, and it works as well.
No matter which stock ROM I flash, turning on the speaker or plugging in a headset mutes the mic.
Any suggestions as to what would cause this?
No one? I even flashed the Viper RUU and returned everything to stock(S-On too), but no dice.

Been testing both Talkatone and GrooveIP. Both work fine when using the internal speaker and mic, but inserting a pair of earphones (to cut down on echo heard by the other party) appears to disable the mic, AND, no sound comes through the earbuds either.
Unplugging the earphones (while call is in progress) DOES NOT reactivate either the mic or internal speaker - the call is muted in both directions and I must hang up.
Any fix for this?

Anything?
I have just bought a bluetooth speaker (JBL Charge) it usually works fine for a little while wioth my S3, then the connection seems to have issues, the music splutters and sometimes slows down or speeds up. I have tried connecting iphones and my nexus 10 which work fine, so I know its not the speakers.
I am using Omega ROM 45 4.2.2 but also on the 4.1.2 firmware it did the same I have done a full wipe etc.
Do you think a kernal change might solve the issue or would it be ROM related or just a dodgy bluetooth chip?
Has anyone else had issues with bluetooth sound peripherals?
Thanks for your help
Is there anyone who has no issues with Bluetooth streaming?

It might be something with ROM. usually kernel dont create problems with that unless you changed settings in kernel for amplifying the sound in bluetooth. or if you are using third party equalizers. try uninstalling third party equalizers first.
I've been streaming music to my JVC RV-NB90B with no problems.
Using non-rooted Stock 4.1.2 MD3
Is anyone else having similiar problems with Google Music on 4.3 ROMS -- I had flashed a few of them to no avail
1. Skipping probably a quarter of a second every few songs?
2. Sound is stereo, but some parts (like background vox, or guitar riffs) are buried way down in the mix or not audible at all?
I haven't had this problem before, and curious to see if anyone has identified the same issues... Appears on both BT and plugged in headphones
Thanks
No issues here using ear buds or PC speakers. On carbon ROM. Funky kernel

Hello, so my One hasn't been able to play audio to my Nokia NFC speaker ever since day one. I've always used Sense Roms, stock and ARHD. The BT would pair with the speaker, even correctly display the name of the device, but it would never send audio. Two days ago I tried an AOSP based Rom and audio over BT worked flawlessly. Is there any way to patch that?

Ok here's the deal. Running stock even after root my headset mic and button works fine. But after installing any rom, the button stops working and so does the microphone. It is a 1 button headset and is Skullcandy. The box said for Android only. Like I said, running get stock Rom it works fine. But if I change to any other Rom it stops Mic and button. I tried on other androids like the s3 and og droid and it works. WTF. Please help. Oh and I've tried all sorts of headphones.
