Check it out guys! Stable 4.3!!!!
http: // get.cm /get /cHL
It barely came out this past Wednesday. Probably the best option out right now outside of sense. Been running it for about 2 days without any problem.
:what: stable 4.3? Dirty unicorns and carbon and PAC have had stable 4.3.1 for quite some time, and more customization. Or do you mean CM11/4.4?

Where is the stable PAC?
^^^^ from what I've read, PAC team had 4.3 damn stable before moving on to 4.4. I think Jamie still has it posted. I'm just going by what I've read, I've been on dirty unicorn 4.3.1 for a really long time and it's solid and stable (with exception of very, very rare keyboard briefly disappearing).
Maybe I misunderstood, though. I mean, if you just mean 'stable' as in 'designated by the dev as a stable release', kinda like how AOKP used to do Milestone builds, then I may have missed the distinction initially.

Sorry, I felt like being a smartass. It was a vague question.
I'm currently running decks build and its super smooth nowadays. check it out. I ran paranoid android and the options for workspace layout and app UI is awesome as well. I just had certain bugs in apps that I couldnt get over in PA.

I am curious what everyone's favorite new jelly bean features are. I gotta say from using my Nexus I love the clock app. Its finally on par with HTC clock. Which is something I always go back to sense for.

Second that. As an extension, I love the quick reply in stock messaging and how it's assessable from the notification area.

One of the rezound jellybean users here should post a video of jb running on their rezound. I'd love to see it in action...see if it's as great as it sounds.
Thanks
Rezound, s-off, loving it.
My favorite feature is both project butter and the notification area.

Correct there are no public releases yet, jellybean is as stable as ICS in my opinion for what I use, but the developers are doing very extensive testing to make sure that the average user doesn't have any more risk flashing jellybean than they do with ICS. When it is released, its because Chad and the other guys working at the source level feel it's relatively safe and secure.

That's good top hear I've been bummed buy the lack of updates and stuff for the REZ lately. But its good to know is just because they are all working hard on getting us jelly bean. I'm pretty stoked for it to be released. I'm really thankful for these guys working hard on a device that's been such a pain in that ass

I'm thinking that rezound development is better now than its ever been. We have aosp, senseless, sense 3.6, sense 4.0, sense 4.1 and a sense 4.5 test build. That's just OS versions. There's more roms actively being updated and developed now than I can ever remember. PM me if you have some questions on recommendations or where to find good roms.
I'm currently running Ecliptic Rez with a nice kernel snuzzo and hawknest built for that rom and there's an update getting ready to drop.

I'd love to check out JB but I went back to a Sense 3.6 ROM (Rezone Redux) from Rage 1.9 because of issues with my phone not switching towers properly. I'd often lose data (especially when transitioning between 3G and 4G) and have to turn the radio off and on to get it back without having to wait forever. Airplane mode became my most used quick setting.

year after official release jelly bean has passed and I've accepted it the 3D functions for my evo 3D missed and it is not even required. It will be at least robust, stable version with no data drops and other issues if not require 3D capabilities? I'm not a developer so I do not know what the main problem with the EVO 3D from similar models that already have a stable JB, why not simply do a fork of cyanogen mod? I read that version of johnyslt, helicopter88 and agrabren are more for experimentation than for everyday serious use without serious problems,

I suggest you try the PAC-Man ROM. You will find it in the CDMA section, but it does have a GSM version, don't worry.
All works awesomely, it has all the features of aokp, cyanogenmod and paranoid android in one rom. I highly recommend it

He asked for a stable ROM. PAC isn't stable on GSM. It has a serious bug which Chris the developer knows about which causes the status bar to crash and is persistent across reboots.
I think the most stable one is the CM or Slimbean ports, I've used both extensively but my preference would be the slim rom.
Either can be used as a daily driver.

Looking forward to your responses. Thanks!
Wow, no responses. Where's the love? Sheesh...
Anyway, here goes.
A good start would be Toolchain. Good customizations, smooth, and stable.

One of my favorites is SlimBean. Not sure why...but I like it a lot. Not too many options to make you feel overwhelmed.
As for working GPS, flash this fix. I'm not sure which roms have GPS working, but this fix will not break those that work, and will fix those that are broke. Flash it along with the rom of choice.

There's my 2 cents.
Tommy! We all know how these threads always end up locked...
In before lock! Lol
I would recommend carbon or vanir. Both top notch ROMs IMO.
+1 Carbon is my go to ROM
Next is Dirt Unicorns been running for a few days now.

Evervolv and codefireX would be two of the most vanilla experiences available here. But both always deliver! I'm running Vanir, but am planning on switching in the upcoming weeks
CM10.2 definately!

not sure on that but to your question
want customization?
Dirty Unicorns
Beanstalk
Illusion Project
after all you should try out every AOSP ROM.
Thanks for the suggestions. Im not really interested in customization at this point. Just need something that doesn't reboot on me once a day, dependable GPS, and as it turns out group messaging.
On another note. Haven't had such good battery life in awhile. Evervolv is doing great

Check the message app setting regarding group messaging... I'm pretty sure cm 10.2 has it in there.... I also thought I remembered seeing it in evervolv, but I haven't been on that in a while.
Today was a slow day in the ER so I flashed NIN's carbon build and so far its running smoothly...
Sweet thanks. Unless I'm completely missing it Evervolv doesn't appear to have it.
I'll flash NINs build once i get my hands on it. Glad to be back on AOSP based ROMs.

The title basically States my question. I noticed that the HTC EVO 4G LTE already has a cyogen mod kitkat 4.4 ROM. I'm not sure if there already is one out for the HTC evo 3d. Or if there is one being developed. But either or it would be really cool to have Android 4.4 on the htc evo 3d CDMA. Thanks for any answers. And to all the developers that make all of these ROMs possible!

I'm trying out the CyanogenMod 11.0 - VILLUMINATI Rom and it's pretty nice too. I'm on virgin mobile though and noticed a few things. Like I get a FC on the default messenger when I go to settings and I've had trouble with mms.
I am also using the Liquid Smooth 3.0 and it runs fine, except for my gps battery draining problem, i mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50584506&postcount=6
I also had 2 random reboots within 2 weeks of using it (not nice, but "acceptable")
liquid smooth is amazingly smooth especially with art enabled. but then none of my streaming apps work with art enabled. the only issue that i've seen with liquid now is that the headphone output get muffled if you switch from your music program to another program and you have to reboot to fix it aside from that it's the dopeness
