Suddenly the Left ear piece of my Stock headphones the MH-650 stopped working I was using it last night till 6.30 pm or so it was fine. But when i used it at 9pm, only the right ear piece was working :'( I tried my dad's galaxy Y ear phones they were not supported in my Mini I used my old Bass Reflex headphones which i got with my W350i some 3 years ago.. But they are not in-ear ones Just last week my friend's headphones, the same MH-650 stock ones that came with his Mini Pro had this exactly same problem.. The left earpiece was the one that was affected in his case too.. Anyone else having the same problem? Any idea whether we MIGHT get a replacement?? (as both of our phones are still under warranty). If not any replacements suggested?(strictly within the price range of the MH-650) Thanks.
Is there any problem with the phone? Cos i was using a Nokia earphones with my mobile for sometime, But it got the same problem too..
I guess there is no problem with the phone, the wire of left earphone might have been pulled accidentally, check them on some other phone,if they are working then obviously the problem is with your handset, otherwise I don't think there's any problem with the phone or software..

Oh Sorry man.....warranty is a main problem these guys have to give atleast 2years of warrenty.. but dont worry.....if you wana purchase a nice headphone for CHD go and buy panasonic................its around 825RS.. buy orginal....dont buy JBL,BEATS,Samsung,Scull candy, etc.....they wont support our phone.............. this one is good......If you installed beats audio in CHD then only you will get the good result..................................
hey there,
sorry for the long post, but I have a few questions and I want to be a specific and clear as I can.
so once again im facing some problems with my 3.5mm audio jack.
last time it happend (over six months ago) I still had the device waranty covering it so I just sent it to the store and they replaced the whole rear speaker part which includes the 3.5mm jack.
now that I don't have waranty covering it im probably facing some high cost for replacing this few dollars part....
I thought maybe I should try replacing it myself but encountered a problem oppening one of the screws in the back panel of the device (even though the screw looks fine, I guess the person who "fixed" my problem last time used too much force to screw/unscrew the screw and messed its head)
any solutions on oppening that last screw?
maybe I should just send it for repair and pay the price..?
or is there a more elegant way of fixing the 3.5mm jack?
also, its preaty annoying facing this problem again in such short term of time...
even though im not using lethal force to connect things to my device, I'm a rather heavy user and I tend to plug and unplug the device alot...
if its in my car when I plug it to the AUX or at my office when I plug it to the stereo or just when im on the train listening to my favorite tunes to pass the time.
what the hell can I do to make the jack last longer??
If you aren't confident then send it for repair, there is no way to repair hardware without disassembling the phone.
My phone is nearly two years old, headphones get plugged in at least two or three times a day and I've had no problems.
Hello everyone
I have a new problem and im not sure how i can solve it
I managed to get s4 headphones with anti tangle cable but after 2 week , left channel (the one without control buttons) doesn't work anymore .. i thought that maybe it was my fault but also left channel for original headphones doesnt work (neither if i plug it i to pc) so i bought s3 headphones and again left channel screwed up so im wondering:
1)why only left channel doesn't work ?
2) could be the fact that im using viper4android? (I was set for equal distibution on both channels)
3)what headphones should i buy now? ...i like s4 one's
Have you tested without viper installed??? Good start there mate. Do you have it on v loud??

Its useless cuz headphones doesnt work even on pc and laptop . Also loud volume was disabled and output gain -1.9db
Buy some really cheap ones or lend some from a friend you don't like much and test see if they break and how long it take's.

I have a old pair ... almost as old as my s2 and they are working fine .. expect sound quality which is good but almost no bass and the fact that they are not in ear
If the old ones work then the headphones ARE faulty so buy whatever you feel is best and take care of them. Cables inside has been broken maybe.

Maybe . I will try again maybe i will have better luck this time also i considered buying samsung hs330 in ear headphones cuz they are moderate price with superior audio quality
Recently I saw that the headphone icon in status bar is still present even after removing the headphone and speaker won't work.......I have tried cleaning the jack but still no success.Any workaround?? Moreover can I clean flash xiaomi.eu from the redwood recovery without any problem??
flash agni kernel.it will solve it.
@ShivamTiwari I think the simple solution to this is to go to a repair shop. As this is a common issue and happens when there's a short circuit near those parts. No need to worry, just go to a repair shop, the guy will fix it in a few minutes, depending on how trained/experienced he is.

There is no short circuit. Dont talk rubbish. It happens coz audio jack is of not good quality. After using earphone multiple times the audio jack contact inside stucks which keeps phone in headphone mode. The old jacks arr flawed. New jacks they brought were good for rn3.
Go to amazon website and buy good audio jack for rn3.

I bought jack from amazon site.
I dismantled main board myself. Took mainboard and jack to nearest mobile shop and got it replaced.
Then reflashed rom again. Now new jack working good.
@Black_Stark Wow man you're so intelligent, I'm mesmerized.
