SOLVED: Root 4.22 SGP311 10.31.C.0.136 - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

edit: easy rooting toolkit with method 0 (goroh-kun) worked
Unfortunately in my excitement I updated to 4.22
I am wondering if there is a root method which works for my device.
ADB drivers installed and it shows up under adb devices
I hate tried doomlord v17, easy rooting toolkit v101, and bin4ary v33
none of them have worked so far
doomlord says i need to remap pfn_range_addresses
others either hang or fail outright.
Thoughts?

[Q] Problem rooting x10i

My phone was rooted a month ago using superoneclick. Then, three days ago, i unrooted it to update my phone to get the multi-touch function. Now, i tried every possible rooting method, including z4root, universal androot, superoneclick etc. When i use superoneclick, it keeps showing "Device has temporary ADB root, Reboot to remove it". I rebooted many times and tried again but it keeps showing it.

Major issues with Lg506go(Optimus) 2.2.1 rooting...

Ok! Hi again folks. Today i was trying to root my wifes new lg506go(Optimus) and got a bit surprised with how the phone would respond to that. At first i thought it was going to be pretty simple using z4 root method. But it didnt work at all, tried a few times by the way. Then i decided to give it a go to superoneclick method but never made it either. Tried UniversalAndroot also just to make shure and it didnt work also. Downloaded Optimusroot.zip and tried the ADB method and every command was accepted but then when i enter the command rageagainstthecage it didnt work also. Some files are missing. It has superuser already installed but cant gain complete root acces. Oh, by the way tried gingerbreak also with no succes. Rom manager is installed but i cant flash the recovery because it doesnt have complete permissons. Can someone give me a different idea or am i just an unlucky guy? Thanks in advance!
Nevermind folks! I was using an older gingerbreak version than 1.2 and it was downloaded from a different website. Just downloaded gingerbreak 1.2 from here and the phone was rooted!

[ADB Drivers] Easily find ADB Drivers for your phone (tested on Galaxy S2 i777)

For those of you out there who are having trouble getting the adb drivers for your phone, try this little trick I stumbled upon:
I was using DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit to root my Galaxy S2 i777 running 2.3.4.
The problem was trying to find the right adb drivers. I tried downloading them from here and there, installing this, that, etc.
Then I took a look at SuperOneClick as a means for rooting. Upon opening the application I looked under the Advanced tab and there was a nifty little button: [Check Drivers].
I clicked it and it found two things that didn't have drivers and asked if I would like it to forcefully install the drivers. I clicked yes and the application froze for a bit.
Once it installed both drivers the application became usable again and I reverted back to DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit to root my phone.
A couple minutes later, I now have a rooted Galaxy S2.
tl;dr
-download/run SuperOneClick and get drivers.
-download/run DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit for root.
-thank the people behind these wonderful tools.
-proceed to enjoy rooted phone.

Or this.

Or run Linux.

Use the easy root toolkit (found in the cross device development section). It works perfectly for me.

to correctly root with towelroot u got to have flashtool installed then u could root with it by pressing on devices icon on top left and choose root then select (root with towelroot)..
it will install towelroot automatically and then follow the instructions on ur pc screen....
if its rooted successfully then ur device will reboot and u will find supersu installed

BLU Studio 5 HD LTE Y534Q - Root Method

I have seen roots posted for the Y530Q but not the Y534Q. I tried Framaroot (1.9.1). It only gives the Aragon option and fails. Kingroot both offline (APK) and via PC fails. The RootGenius method posted here, also fails.
Kingo Root worked for me:
Uninstall any other methods you have tried.
Install the adb-driver-installer here.
Install and run Kingo.
Check your Superuser app after the root is successful. You may need to allow it to update. If so, choose the normal method.
I hope this helps.
This method Works!
Thanks man nice little tool.:good::good:
Note: Mine didnt read the blu phone till i rebooted my PC.
KINGO IS A FAUX ROOT METHOD (Don't Use)
Use WondershareGO which you can easily find a .torrent for on KAT or TPB and use the "One Click Root" Method w/o any data loss and a TRUE rooted bianary!
Need Help
i tried this method and the PC seems to recognize the phone, also the kingo ROOT program and even it install a APK on the phone, tried 4 times and even reboot the PC but it doesnt seem to work it always fails, do i have to do a special process or someting?
