micromax is incapable. but not everyone. you should check out the cyanogen for mediatek thread before talking. someone has actually managed to boot up kitkat on oppo 819 with mt6589 chip.

Dont know about official from MMX people but XPLODWILD actually managed to boot up 4.4 on a mtk6589 device,but he is saying that its far from alpha and will take months of work to create a actual aosp rom, so dont get your hopes up guys.

Nobody has done a bounty on the GNote before? Thats where someone creates a thread where people say they are going to donate $ to the first rom, and the op keeps track of everyones donation request and that bounty $ goes to the person or persons who makes the first port. Its just encouragement for the devs to get money and the community benefits from a cools rom. Something like that

in my opinion lg won't release a new android for our phone. We have to hope indie developer port kitkat to our phone...
Seems that we wouldn't get android 4.4 update because of our omap4430 cpu. As TI quitted mobile bussiness, it is possible don't update the kernel drive. But if google glass get the update, it is possible for our L9 to have it.

I've looked around the forums and there are a couple of people who wanted TouchWiz for Xperia SP, So I decided to modify the original TouchWiz for samsung devices and created a flashable zip file which will be able to install TouchWiz into your XSP no problem!
(I know, I myself do not know why they want such a UI but hey, for the community! )
