bootloop after install cm 10.1.2 - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi,
i installed cm 10.2 on my xtz wifi 32gb. because of missing cifs.ko module i tried to downgrade to 10.1.2 using cwm (install zip). now i've a bootloop, i see the cm logo since 1 1/2 hours. i think the problem is, i've forgotten to wipe the data before install cm 10.1.2. i can't boot into cwm, when i shutdown the tablet with power+vol+ there is no sony logo. the first logo i see is the free xperia logo.

edit
i can boot into fastboot. can i fix the error this way (wipe or anything else)?

[Q] Unable to Flash CyanogenMod after Flashing stock Android 4.4 on Nexus 4

Hi All,
Last week, I flashed my LG Nexus 4 (16GB) phone with stock Android 4.4 (Official Image), before that I was on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable.
Now, for some reason I didn't like the stock 4.4 and tried to Flash back my CyanogenMod 10.1.3 from CWM "Install ZIP" but the problem I'm facing is that it CyanogenMod doesn't boot, hangs on "Spiral Splash Screen". Then I tried Flashing CM 10.0 stable, still loops into boot forever and at times boots (after 15-20 minutes of booting on spiral splash screen) and doesn't recognise SIM card, Camera, Storage, WIFI or anything.
Then after getting fed up with this I tried flashing MIUI V5. This also takes a 15-20 to boot and fails to recognise - SIM, WiFi, Camera etc.
So lastly like a loser I flashed back my Android 4.4 it works fine.
I've my boot-loader in unlocked state.
and Yes before flashing CM or MIUI, I did - wipe data/factory, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache from CWM Recovery.
So I want to get back into CyanogenMod 10.1 stable. Help me out with this.

Hello Prakhar,
I would suggest you to first download the official image of Nexus 4 for android 4.3 and flash it from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and then you can try to flash CM 10.1.3 from the CWM Recover Console. Hope this helps!
I would also like to point you out to https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/drivers which contains drivers for your phone's camera, etc. you can download those binary and flash it one by one through your recovery console, which might fix your issues.
It worked !
Downgraded to stock 4.2.2 then Flashed CM 10.2 RC1 from CWM Recovery !
Thanks a lot U3ViaGFsbyA6UA==

[Q] [Help] Cyanogenmod stuck in boot loop

I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-T989 and tried to install cyanogenmod 10.2, but I can't start it, it gets stuck in the cyanogenmod splash screen and doesn't get any further.
Here's what I did originally: I flashed clockworkmod (via Odin) and booted into recovery. I then installed the cyanogenmod zip file that I had copied onto the sdcard.
When it failed to boot, I tried several things: I flashed TWRP (via Odin) and then did a factory reset and system wipe, installed cyanogenmod (from TWRP) and did the factory reset again. Same problem, the system will get stuck in the boot loop. I also tried an earlier version of cyanogenmod, same problem.
I am quite sure that I downloaded all the right files for my device. I searched online and saw other people who had that problem, and solved it by wiping the cache/data after the install. This didn't work for me.
I don't know what else to try, so please reply if you have any ideas!
Thanks :fingers-crossed:
Not sure bout it but flash only the cm kernel via cwm then reboot to recovery again n factory reset then install the Rom all the best

[Q] Defy+ CMUpdate failed

I used the CMUpdater today to install the lastest Nightly from Quarx (140518)
However the install failed and I was stupid enough to reboot the phone from TWRP.
Now I can't get to TWRP anymore as the phone is stuck at the Motorola Logo.
Wiping data/cache from the Stock recovery didn't help.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could proceed to a working phone again?
Thanks in advance!

Stuck in rom logo. I flash cm12.1 nightly from origin 4.4.4

I can restore the bak up.
but I want to install a new custom firmware. cm 12.1 failed.
mokee failed too.
I just wipe/factory. and install zip.
the phone is already unlocked?
How to install the custome rom without stucking in rom logo.
I solved this issue yesterday
The short answer is that you have to flash CM11 (official or unofficial, doesnt matter) over the original stock ROM first. In your case, reboot into your custom recovery (I used TWRP 2.7.1.0), and do a factory reset first. THEN, flash CM 11.
Once you let the phone boot for the first time, reboot into TWRP, factory reset, and then flash the CM 12.1 nightly.

stuck on boot animation while completing the installation of custom rom

Hey guys! Got a situation here. My phone is Samsung grand 2 sm-g7102. I've done so many things . root, upgrade to custom os (5.~), then go to cm 13 I think, now to aokp 7.1 then change the boot animation then try to change the boot logo. Now the prob is when I tried to change the boot logo using terminal from internet, my phone reboot then stuck on boot animation( custom). Since I don t have files in my phone, I reflash the aokp. Now it still stuck on boot, then I download stock ROM from Samsung and it works fine. But I'm back in 4.4 and I want to upgrade it to aokp again. I flash my old cm13 then aokp but both of them stuck in their own boot animation. I did everything before flashing ( cache, wipe data, etc. ) what could be the problem guys l? Pls help me. I really want to go back in aokp. TIA.
