I am now on rooted 4.3 with unlocked bootloader. Can install any recovery menu or I have to find something that works on 4.3?

As the title says I'm a noob with non samsung devices.
I updated to 4.3 and unlocked the bootloader thinking it would easier to root the tablet.
What I want is to have a custom recovery and root acces with my stock 10.4.B.0.577 firmware on a 16 gigs wifi only (311) tablet z.
On my moto x I unlocked the bootloader and flashed a stock kernel with a custom recovery and there I flashed super su but I can't find a stock 4.3 kernel for this tab.
I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590602 guide but I think I wont gain the custom recovery.
Any ideas?

If Little Kernel is the way to go, I'd like to know if it's independent of the android version I'm running.
So I want to put carbon rom on my galaxy s4. (SGH-i337 running rooted 4.4.2)
The current rom I have on it has a locked boot loader so I cannot get TWRP or CWM on it.
I have tried rolling back to 4.2.2 but it will not let me.
I used the app "phone info Samsung" to see what bootloader I had and all the firmware files had the same name. Does this mean I can flash a unlocked bootloader?

So, I asked a friend to install cyanogenmod lollipop on my device couple of months ago. Now that the official Xperia update is out and because I don't like cyanogenmod, I want to install the official lollipop release on my device. Currently I have official sony android version 4.4.4 flashed on my rom. My phone's bootloader is unlocked so, I can't update it through the official OTA release. (Also, I do not have a backup of my DRM keys)
So either help me re-lock my bootloader, or tell me how to flash the official Sony Xperia Z lollipop on my phone!

You can download nightlies of the ROM from Cyanogen's own website.
I have a SGP611 and I used to have dual recovery installed on it until I noticed that every time I tried to flash a zip file, I'd get the "Status 7" error concerning the updater-script
I proceeded to get the boot.img inside the ROM's flashable zip and flash it via Fastboot. I was then able to boot into CyanogenMod's recovery, factory reset, and flash cm12.1 as well as 5.1 gapps from PA
Guys I need help. Can someone provide me a tutorial on how to install custom recovery and ROM to this unit. And can someone provide me a list of stable custom ROM's and recovery images. Thanks.
