Has anyone successfully used an external DAC such as the FiiO E17 or FiiO 11 with their Note 3? I'm only familiar with the FiiO Brand so far.

The nice DAC/ amplifier Fiio E17 is not working on S3, like a lot of other DACs ( vial OTG cable). Is there any developer who has been looking at this - the problem is some dirty work from FIIO's side, however, it works in some other devices, such as Nexus 7
Hi, I was wondering does anyone know why I cant get my s4 to send audio to my fiio e07k? I know that the Galaxy s3 works perfect with usb DACs . Also I checked with the audio tester and it does show but no audio out. Also the audio to the speakers is cut when I plug the fiio in and pauses when i remove it.
Thanks,
Isaac
I just bought GA and I have a little problem/question: I paired my Fiio e18 USB dac/amp with alpha with usb cable and I got an background continue noise. Could somebody try and tell me if it is a general bad design problem or is something wrong with my phone. From the headphones out sound seems to be better than s5 and note 4.
I don't have the issue with my Alpha and Fiio E18... Have you check if the Fiio and USB cables works perfectly with other device?...
So we can isolate where the issue come from.
I used the same combo with S5 dual sim ( 900fd) and with note 4. Maybe is a problem with the cable or the Dac. I will try with another cable, with fiio e17 and with note 3. I guess will find out who's the blame. I will be back.
P.S. The headphones output semms better than note 4 snapdragon.
Has anyone here successfully used a USB DAC (digital to analog converter) with the Ham2? I am thinking about buying a Fiio USB DAC to improve audio out from the phone as I use it with headphones frequently. If anyone has used any DAC with the Mate2 I'd like to know what your experience has been!
Hi there
Does anyone use an external DAC for listening to Music?
I've got some great headphones for which I do use the USB C to 3mm adaptor that came with the phone. But is there anything that can improve the Audio experience?
Don't get me wrong, it sounds good. But could it be better?
