A116 Not booting after wiping battery stats - Micromax A116

HELP!
Today Morning I Followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2188500&page=2
And tried rooting my A116.
However the Root checker app was denied root access. Superuser app was installed.
I had battery issues,so I downloaded Battery Calibration app and wiped Battery stats in CWM.
After I rebooted,Phone worked as normal. Once it got down to 3% of battery,I plugged it in and hit reboot for some reason.
It never Booted,It now shows the red LED and the battery image showing its getting charged.(when Plugged).
I kept it on charge for about 2 hours. Still,It won't boot.

Hey Akhil .. .
Your explanation shows that you have very less technical knowledge. .
Let me clear first. . .
-Root checker app needs root permissions and supersu grants that permission by giving a popup when you open it for first time. .
So may be it was denied root permissions because of your unawareness. .
-U may wipe battery stats by cwm or manually or some calibration app. .
Here you said that you downloaded calibration app then wiped battery stats in cwm. . . .So why did you download calibration app then. . !!
- Your explanation regarding your phone booting is not understandable by me. . Please make it clear. . - Is your phone Stuck at boot logo .. .- Is it not waking up at all. . .??
Thankyou. . .

Hey. It worked.
Used adb. And phone is now working. Thanks.

hey iam facing the same problem dude can you explain the procedure u used

Again. Recently. My friend did exactly the same thing. But. For him. He charged the phone for like 4 hours switched off. And then when he turned it on, it worked. So. Try this first. And if it didn't work. Try using another charger and another power socket.

ive bought new samsung wonder last 2 month..i got problem which is everytime i charge the phone till full 100% it will go down at 99% as soon ive unplugged the charger..what cause it n anyone can help me solve this problem..any apps or way to fix it..ive try battery calibration on market n oso factory reset it but still the same..sory for my bad english..
You can't. It will always start from 99%. This is because battery is used up as soon as you unplug; so the capacity can't be full, right?
If I'm wrong please correct me.
really..hurmm..before root oso same n after root oso the same..btw thankz..

Try choosing a different Tom, sometimes that helps. You can also wipe battery stats in recovery. Last option, warranty replacement if your phone is still covered.

Why isn't it? I've had that problem on a couple phones, this one, my Motorola and my Sony Ericsson. I called AT&T and they gave me a warranty replacement.

Try a different rom. Sontimes that helps.

Wiping battery stats achieves absolutely nothing. Google have stated this more than a few times.
What you're describing might be a battery issue, it might be an issue with the USB/charging circuitry of the phone, or it could be none of the above (most likely).
If you're not running a stock rom (compeltely stock, not even a CFRoot kernel), find stock firmware & go back to/flash it. Head over to Sammobile.com to find/download stock firmware for your phone.
If you can reproduce the issue of 'when i reboot my phone it drain to 15 or below' it might be a hardware issue, but as JJE said a few days ago, you wouldn't get a replacement. You might get it repaired if it's definitely the hardware issue I described above.
But you've got a bunch of things you can do/try before you go down that path.
now days i noticed something
the first is when phone is fully charge if I plug it off immediately it will get down to 96 or 97
and it will not if i leave it for one hour or less than that
the second the battry drian to 15 or below it not always occur and it occur only when battery level below 50

[Q] HELP! phone crashes with massive battery drop.

I've got this issue where, similar to others my phone crashes and when rebooted the battery had dropped significantly. I ran a log service and found these lines just before the phone crashed - see attachment.
It seems to do this until the value is 0 just before the crash.
Could this be the cause?
Sorry if I've pasted too many lines, I'm just new to this forum. I hope someone can help.

just try to calibrate battery once and see
do this
install any custom Rom you want, then charge the phone to full!!!
then go to recovery then go to advanced and then wipe battery stats !!!! remember charge to 100% then only calibrate it

During things that consume a great deal of power the battery calibration might become a bit "off". Should fix itself after a while though.
I had this same problem. Backup. Take ur sd card out. Charge to 100 percent do a format usb storage/factory reset in settings. Go to recovery clean stats. Clear format/cache/dalvich !make sure you have a safe kernel! Put ur sd card in. Never had this problem again. Am running rooted stock 4.0.4 with siyah kernal.

Hi there, I'm also experiencing the same thing here.
Phone is charging and then suddenly it re-starts itself .
When it finish re-starting, comes up with Android is upgrading......
I did a full wipe and re-install the stock ROM from manufacturer , but still same thing.
I'll try to re-wipe again and install a stock rom again and will not add any mod's for today. so i can rule out what's the cause.
Edit:
Did wipe again and install 2 Stock ROM, and still the same,
I also noticed that the upper part of the phone is heating up.
I'm starting to think that maybe its over heating (which is new) and automatically restart itself when it reaches its limit.
am i making sense at all?
Yeah, the phone heats up and it restarts . Do let me know if you find any solution for this.

I will update you regarding this issue soon...
As for now, my phone is at the service center
and they said that it might take 2-3 days if the problem is with the software,
1-2 weeks if its regarding hardware, but of course it's probably a hardware problem.
before it was just heating up/restarting when its plugged in (either PC or charger)
now, every time i use it without any plug at all, it's also heating up. (not sure with the restarting)
cause i have to turn it off immediately to avoid further damage on the phone specially the camera.
By the way, as i was exploring all the root files inside the phone.... saw this file (attached)
and I'm not quite sure what it does. but as you can see on the file name it say's thermal.off.conf
It's a .conf file i zipped it so i can upload it.
just my speculation and correct me if i'm wrong, that this file will power off the phone when it overheats
to prevent the phone from being a total mess.

Battery Drains

To share your battery issues in this thread
I have very strange bug.... I am using honor 5x. When I switch on battery percentage, after charging my phone to 100% my battery start getting discharge. It's like it comes to 96% within few minutes of using. But the 100% charge does not hold even for more than 1 minute. The battery comes to 99% as soon as charger is detached. I am on 5.1.1 official Indian dual sim version.... Can anybody confirm same , are you getting same thing ?? I mean battery drain !
Well the phone was in one month exchange warranty from the website which was selling honor 5x phone apart from official warranty. When I called them they told me to download a alien app named smartcheck from a link provided on email. I called them them and they provided me a 16 digit Windows like code to open the app. There were lot of options in the app itself. The representative told me to select battery option he told me to plug in the charger and then let the app detect charging. Then the app told me to detach the charger after 15 seconds. Then the app uploaded something on internet and alas the customer care representative told me my phone battery is alright and it means they can't change it.
I was like amazed to see how can a app in lollipop can get battery stats when phone is not rooted ?? He was like I don't know sir , we can't change your phone... So am I the only one getting this strange battery drain or all people have same ??
Pretty much normal for any battery I would say.
a solution
