I have an HTC Titan but the flex cable for volume buttons are broken. I want to unlock it (hspl, custom rom, etc) but i can't access to USB Host Mode or Bootloader Mode because volume buttons are unavaliable. How can I access to bootloader mode or usb host mode without volume buttons? any app in the marketplace or anything?

I have a TITAN X310e phone
Nothing else to do,
Press the volume down key into a black and white interface, forgot to modify what
Now only shows a white screen of the phone is switched on, connected on the computer prompts a KITL device
Can not install the driver
The two modes can enter
1, can the camera button and volume down key into a USB Host mode
2. can the Press the volume up and volume down keys*Enter the SPL mode
Now do not know how to start

If you're able to enter bootloader (vol up and down + vol) than simply flash anything (stock or custom if HSPL is already installed). It's absolutely no problems for the moment with your phone.

If HSPL isn't installed and he's staring at the black/white screen with the image of a device and a computer is that not the mode he needs to be in for Cab Sender? I appreciate much of the information you post; thank you!

NO...! from usb host mode u cant directly change the rom unless & until it gets patched by the HSPL...! u just try to hold UP+DOWN volume key and then press POWER button, while pressing POWER button dont release the Volume keys....!
hi guys,
the phone has a broken screen(all black) and broken power button.
it was running Toxic Heroes Darky 9.5 (2.2/2.2.1) with one of the custom kernels before this happened.
i can get into download mode by pressing Volume up+down and plugging the usb power cable, from there i can reboot and get the phone to boot.
TV out and USB debugging are disabled.
is there a way to enter cwm in this case?
I tried going through recovery to bootloader, but that does not put me in download mode. Any other tips except Adb. Just thinking about what I can do in a boot loop or brick except wipe.

If you're in recovery mode, you can use ADB to command a reboot to bootloader, which for most Samsung devices opens download mode as well - the screen is just black instead of green.
Getting into bootloader mode via the buttons depends on the device, but the universal method seems to be this:
Power device completely off, wait a minute or two
Hold both Volume + and - buttons, do NOT press Power
While holding Volume buttons, plug in USB cable connected to your PC
Device should start in download mode.
If you press Power, or connect the USB cable before holding the buttons, your device will just power on.
Going into bootloader does not put me into download. I ahead to use Adb reboot download and you can’t use Adb in stock recovery
