Getting LTE on AT&T - HTC One Max

is it possible to perform a workaround, hack, change up on the HTC ONE MAX to get it to work on the AT&T network to enable LTE

The simplest answer would be no, I have it on at&t, but i got lucky...lol...you would need this board for LTE to work on AT&T... T6ULA XA it has the bands for AT&T.

So I'd have to change the board on the phone?
Def can't do that one
No hacks...
So if no LTE am I looking at strictly 3G speeds for areas where I used to have LTE or would this version be able to pick up faster speeds

Just from a hardware standpoint, it would depend on which HTC One Max model you have. The Sprint one is completely incompatible with AT&T LTE. The Verizon one has only one overlapping band, which is AWS (1700 MHz, Band 4). However, the bread and butter of AT&T LTE in most areas has been 700 MHz Lower B Block (Band 12 or 13, can't remember exactly). The Verizon One max should be able to use the AWS frequencies, however, Verizon's 700 MHz C Block is inoperable with the 700 MHz B Block.
Short answer, if AT&T has AWS deployed, you should be able to use it. Chances are that they don't, and they use 700 MHz B Block.

The ONLY motherboard that has the AT&T bands is what I have mentioned(T6ULA XA), I have the board and the phone that does get AT&T LTE....

More than likely [email protected] bands being supported...thats a singapore one max,4g is probably about the best youll get with that device on AT&T
