Hello. I have some problems with my xperia sola. When I turn on wifi or bluetooth, it freeze for a moment and then reboot. Then it keeps freezing and rebooting while loading to OS. Only way to fix it is clearing cache and dalvik cache, then it starts normally with wifi/bluetooth enabled and it works until next re-enabling. I have cyanogenmod 9.1 FXP 216 and it stock freexperia kernel. I also tried Vegenance kernel and stock ROM (4.0.4) and the same problem. Someone have an idea how to fix it?

You have changed the software and the problem still exist, I think the last choice is : you have a problem in you hardware

Hmm, before I give my phone to repair (my screen broke up) everything was ok. Maybe it's HW issue but I'm still thinking about how it works after clearing cache. Now I have installed CM 11 with it stock kernel (sony custom?) and nothing changed, wifi's still crashing the phone :/
EDIT Oh, now I got the question. I accidentally step on my phone and crush their screen (only screen, digitizer was ok) I give it to a custom repair service (because I don't have warranty) only for LCD replacement

The touchscreen on my phone with MiniCM7Pro V21 stopped working. Everything else is working (buttons), except the touchscreen. It shows everything but I can't do nothing with my finger.. I've had this problem before, but then it could be fixed by simply taking out the battery and rebooting that way. This time that didn't work. First thing that I tried was factory resetting the phone, clearing all caches, etc. Touchscreen still not working after booting. Then I flashed SonyStyle V1.1 touchscreen still not working. Then I 'repaired' it with SEUS, touchscreen was working fine. Rooted the phone, installed CWM. Touchscreen still working. Installed SonyStyle V1.1, touchscreen stopped working, but again, I could see the home screen, open the menu with the hardware button, change volume, lock the phone, open up camera, app drawer, type something in search. Just the touchscreen won't work.
Any ideas? Please, I can't live with the stock rom..

Use SE Update Service(SEUS) an flash Stock ROM... happened to me b4...after flashing stock rom everything is fine...
read the first post again. already tried that. can't live with stock 2.1.
I too had this problem I installed stornmix rom nd everthng was back to nrmal...
Bt u can try deleting the multitouch module using ADB shell...

I have 2 problems with my lww.
The first one is the wifi. It disconnects at random times even having the wifi config to always on and using the wifi high performance wigdet. I go then to the wifi list and i can't see my home network. I have to press scan a couple of times to make it appear again. Is there any fix for that?
I am using stock kernel (cant unlock booloader) and flashed 4.0.4 stock ROM.
The other problem is that i have tried like 4 or 5 different cusrom ROMs. All of them supporting locked bootloaders but they always get stuck at Sony logo at first boot or enter a bootloop. When they enter to the bootloop i get to cwm but i dont know what to do for fixing it. And when it gets stuck in the sony logo i cant even get to cwn and i am forced to connect again to flashtools and start all over again to have rooted ICS...
Any help would be very appreciated!!
PS: any other owner of lww notices a slight noise coming through speakers while playing quiet music through them?

Before you flash the ROM you have to wipe data/factory, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik-cache. Additionally i do "Format /system," . If you not wipe you got the bootloop. Apart from that you need to use correct ROM and recommended kernel.
That wifi disconnecting issue i also face, but i can't identify what's the correct reason.
Oh. I forgot to tell that even formatting and cleaning dalvik, cache, system, etc. I get bootloop or stuck at sony logo. I double checked to install Real ICS for locked bootloaders but always stuck or bootloop.

Hi all,
I was trying different ROMs on my Xperia mini st15i. So, i was trying MIUI with extended stock kernel and everything was working fine for a week, until one fine day, my phone hung up on me. I restarted it, and found out that miui was crashing ( it was restarting the phone on its own after i tried to unlock it). So i tried re-installing it. The problem persisted. So i decided to change the kernel. I flashed in rage kernel and installed MIUI again. But since then, my touch was not responding. (Not even touch buttons - back and options button). So i flashed back extended stock kernel. At least my buttons were working now but the touchscreen was not responding. Tried installing Cyanogen after flashing the kernel again, the device is not being identified as ST15i or smultron. Could it be possible that i might have screwed up my device somehow during the flashing-re-flashing cycle i got into out of panic.
What could be the solution to this problem. (I know one of the solns is going to Sony Service centers but they charge a lot.)

I got some problem with this rom. My phone get white light when i open or install some app especially titanium backup though i have just installed it a moment ago. Then i try to replace battery icon my phone stuck in xperia logo. I have tried to install many time and it's the same. Plz help me!

I had the same problem when I used X10S, unwanted reboots as WLOD (White Light Of Death). Typically, this occurs when you change the CPU frequency or an process/app is malfunctioning. I had that problem when I tried to open a large app - especially Settings.
Anyway, here's the solution: after flashing the ROM - flash over the latest Ferakernel (V3.6) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34222065&postcount=5378 After that, don't forget to install the libs and modules provided before rebooting... and clear cache and dalvik cache.

I'm running CM 10 on my EVO. I haven't updated it in a while so it's probably 10.1 or something. Random shutdowns would happen for no reasons sometimes when using the new YouTube app. Then yesterday when I turned on Bluetooth, the phone shutdown by itself. When it reboots it says Android is upgrading... and optimizing apps. Then it reboots and gets stuck in a bootloop. I can boot to bootloader and recovery. I've wiped cache, Dalvik cache, and nothing seems to fix it. Sometimes it boots and I can enter my PIN and use the phone for a few seconds until it reboots itself again. Also, there has been discolored streaks near the sides of the screen. When using the phone they're black, but when the screen is booting they're red on top of the black.
Does anyone have experience with such a problem? I want to try fixing this so I can backup my data before I reflash the ROM or anything.
If it's an older CM release that could be part of your problem. I would update to CM 10.2 and see if the problem persists. I'm currently running the 8/24 IRC build and it has been rock solid. If you continue to have issues you may have a hardware problem.

Thanks for the reply. I did a wipe/factory reset from recovery after doing a backup. Everything seems to be okay now. I'm flashing CM 10.2 8/30 from the IRC to try it out.
I have a backup of the state when it wasn't booting properly. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem with the turning on Bluetooth and then the shutting down by itself and bootloop. I want to be able to recover files from that state.
