First of all I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum. I'm posting for the first time.
So I watch alot of video which are being posted on Facebook through my mobile using MX Player or download them using Easy downloader. By about a week ago it stopped working. I mean like I can only play videos through default video player. I tried changing the default video playing app and everything but still no luck. i even changed ROMs but still the same.
All I wanna do is watch videos on MX player or download them using easy download. Please help me with this.

Help PLS... built in Video Player
hey guys pls do help me. my build in video player was working yesterday. so im quite sure that the problem started today. i never dropped it or anything. i was a bit concern about folders on my files so i deleted some of it, im not quite sure if i deleted something important.
but when i try to play video on the built in video player it does not play and its like you have to keep pushing the play button and it will play frame by frame. tried several videos and restarting the computer several times no go.
other player like real player and mobo player works fine. but i want the built in video player to work again. pls help me. appreciate that.

Hi everybody, i have a problem.. i was using aokp build 38 and it gave me alot of random bootloops so i switched to the newest OAT.. now i have a problem with streaming mp4 videos online. On websites such as m.worldstarhiphop.com thats the mobile version, it works better. But now it asks me to download the video instead of streaming it. How can i fix this? Help please!
Do you have the stock video player installed? Try installing ES File Explorer and MX Video player. The next time you click a link it should ask which one to open it in, those can both stream videos.
Dont know that my title is sufficiently clear, same problem could be mentioned here in Q&A, but i dont know how to search that topic, through which sentence or words.
Anyway, when i am trying to watch a movie in my adroid device (Xperia Sola), sometimes it directly opens it with flash player withing the browser (Btw i am using stock) and sometimes it wants me to open with some apps, like Movies, Quickpic and MX Player. Since i am able to play that video with flash player in my computer, i want that video to be played by flash player, not by some apps.
Actually MX Player is better in watching movies, but sometimes it cant grab the movie, but flash player makes no problem like that.
PS: I unchecked "Play HTTP Links" in MX Player, but there is no such option in stock Movies app and Quickpic.
I would be appreciated for your all possible solutions.
Its may be because sometimes the files to be played is flv so it directly plays in flash player sometimes its different like mp4 etc than browser asks you to choose an app...
And if you want than you can choose flash player as default player than it will play in flash player automatically

When ever you try to play a video this type of pop up will appear..
So what you have to do is just tick in the box use by default for this action.. Then select whatever player you want to play default..

Since there is no option to play with Flash Player, i cant shoose this.

I have a problem to play video in res 720p on my xperia x10 now im using DiXperia8 - Stock version, before install DX8 when i wos have android 2.3.3 videos play good (no lag) in oryginal video player and in "MX Video Player", after install DX8 standard app named "QuicPic" say that he cant open that video file. I try install "MX Video Player", "MoboPlayer" and "BSPlayer". "MoboPlayer" and "BSPlayer" dont work, "MX Video Player" work but there's no synch Video+Music. When i play movie or something else Video lag and music play some seconds then stop (like she buffer) and then play again. I try to search in google and XDA forum but no results maybe someone have some idea where is a problem ?? btw. I try instal stufs from DiKej post like "SE_Stuff_DX8", "Flash_If_Something_Not_Working_DX8_Sb", "Fix_DX8_Sb" but still dont works . I dont have no idea how to resolve that problem.

The laggy camera thing is a known issue in cm7 and thus in Dixperia roms. The that video player issue try changing stuff around in settings like hardware decoding and software decoding. And to make the "Stuff" work you must download the ones posted with the rom you chosen. They may look like the same but no they are not.

Rhis problem is very normal because it is CM based ROM. There is only one CM based ROM that supports 720p recording. Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609399 The only problem is that the bluetooth is working very lame. If You want everything working in Your phone You must install some Stock-Based ROM. X10 development ends, there's nothing we can do

Thanks, but i dont have problem with record but play video i can record camera movie in 720p and i can open, but if i downloade something from youtube or sth else, there is a problem to open that video.
Hey Guys,
I'm having a problem that it seems that no one else is having. When I'm trying to play videos on my tablet, no matter which way I encode an mp4 or an m4v file, all video player come up with "cannot play video" or "invalid url". I have tried a number of different setting on handbrake and come up with the same result everytime. I have tried disabling the mobile bravia engine but this didn't help either. Please help!

I tried MX player (both free and pro) but it doesn't seem to work still. Btw the videos do play on other tablets with MX player.
