The [FIX]N4 conversion flash-able fix.[SD/NFC] thread was starting to get a little backed up
with all the posts for requests and people posting their fixes
so I decided to follow C2fifield's idea to open a AIO thread.
Left NFC and Cap Keys (with working lights!) in new fixes.

Haha thanks for the mention, although it's not really necessary considering you're doing all the work.
And just an opinion, maybe put a link to the thread of the ROM too? Just for simplicity's sake.

my ext is ext3. I read that the cwm is ext4 only. IS that a problem?
I've made a cwm back of my cm9 rom using cwm 5.0.2.6: when I change my ext 3 to ext4, can i still use my cm9 backup to restore using cwm?

Almost all roms are in ext4 file system. Btw, cwm works on all roms. It is px recovery that only supports ext4 roms. You can easily restore your backup, don't worry.

only for new ROMs with selinux, so not for the Note 2 I think as you still have old TW non selinux ones

I think kitkat cm11 roms use permissive selinux permissions, so not affected. Stock CWM doesn't support selinux. However, maybe on some apps it could help
In any case, for cm-10.2 and 11, it is a good idea to have it enabled

From my prior understanding (and I am happy to be corrected) the system write protection actually is based in the kernel. Until we get kernel source code and custom kernels changes to system will be overwritten on reboot.

Here is the latest ANC2 ROM, modem and kernel for our i8190 devices. Don't try to install it any other variation of the SIII mini! Just download and install via recovery. If you don't have network once booted after flashing modem, just reboot and it will be OK.
ROM
This is the stock ANC2 ROM with some changes:
Rooted with Chainfire's SuperSU
Pre-installed busybox for apps
All apps deodexed for flexibility
All apps zipaligned for performance
The ROM was debloated of some unnecessary apps. You can download any of this apps using my repository.
ArchiDroid independent init.d support. This means init.d is embedded in the ROM and not the kernel, so it will work in whichever kernel you use
The zip file contains the ANC2, so you don't need to flash it separately. The installer will automatically wipe system/cache/dalvik partitions. If you are coming from a non-stock ROM, please wipe data yourself using your recovery. This ROM should be flashed using 2.7.0.0+ TWRP from NovaFusion. It may work with CWM but I do not guarantee it.
If you want to update your baseband along with the ROM, flash the modem from this thread.

Yes, I figured it wouldn't work with older recoveries... I was going to make it compatible with them but I was lazy and I also believe I'm doing a good job making people update their recoveries since the older ones do not work with all KK ROMs and may cause some issues... So TWRP all the way.
Thank you

Well, maybe placebo maybe not, but your baseband works better on CM11 than juliàcarax one (& it's the same xxanc2), so thanks Joel, from now on I only flash your basebands:laugh::good:
