Anyonge successfully installed ADB/Fastboot drivers for their experias on Win 8 x64 RTM/Trial?
Because I tried:
- disabling driver integrity checks/ driver signing verifications
- installing xperia drivers from sony dev blog site
- installing drivers provided with latest flashtool
All failed - when connected my device is not recognized (even tho it shows ADB Android device in device manager with warning sign). Win7 works flawlessly.
Any advice/ideas?
Maybe there are. Use win7.
Cant u update drivers automatically using internet bro?

After few hours of struggle i managed to weed out the cause:
USB 3.0 and driver signature enforcement.
So I went into advanced boot option, disabled driver signature enforcement, plugged my phone to USB 2.0 port and VOILA, it works flawlessly
Trying to install drivers on Windows 8 so I can root using the moonshine method. Can't seem to find valid drivers. The one I did find won't recognize my phone in bootloader mode. Thanks!
EDIT: adb devices lists the serial number, however fastboot device says "waiting for device"
which drivers did you use?
are you using a usb3.0 port as fastboot will not work with it i searched forums and usb3.0 is out as of now
I can't post links now, but search here for a program called "HTC DNA Toolkit" by "stillthisguy".
After installing it, run in compatibility mode for XP SP3, make sure your phone is unplugged, and install the drivers for your version of Windows 8. Make sure to use a USB 2.0 port.
Hello,
I'm trying to do a nvflash backup of my Prime to avoid bricks, but I can't connect it with APX nor in Windows neither in Linux.
In Linux I obtain this, and the device is not connected:
[ 170.990681] usb 2-1.2.1.2: new high-speed USB device number 17 using ehci-pci
[ 176.064021] usb 2-1.2.1.2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
Click to collapse
In Windows the device still as Unknown Device even when I've installed the Naked Driver.
I've try in several PCs, in all USB ports, even with a powered hub, with the same results.
Any idea, please?
Linux Debian x64 and Windows 7 x64
Thanks!
Laptop does not detect my device LG l7II running Cyanogenmod 11. My system is Windows 8.1. When the USB debugging is enabled in Device Manager are exclamation points . When I disable USB debugging at all , there is no reaction. How do I properly detect your phone in a laptop ?
Hello,
exactly I would like to open my Bootloader followed this guidance https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...bootloader-oeffnen-und-schliessen.384769.html but as soon as I switch to the fastboot in the mobile phone my laptop does not recognize the phone. I downloaded the latest HTC driver and HTC Sync and Java. In the Device Manager it says Unknown Device Code 43 and Windows gets this message USB device was not detected. Before that I did not have any programs or drivers from HTC.
Thx
