Hi to all .. the title says it all .. I want to know, clearly, if there is a way to have the "dual camera" of galaxy s4 on the legendary galaxy s2 .. should not be a software feature? I think it's impossible that nobody has implemented a function so comfortable .. I await clarification from people more experienced than me

Coming from a sgs2 I really feel that OK, sgs3 is a hell of a hw but that ICS and JB are still not optimized as the GB stock was for s3.
And other than optimization I'm sure that GB was lighter to run and that is mainly what I'm missing from my new device now.
So I'm wondering....really? Nobody thought about building a GB realease for this huge machine which is s3?
Nobody out there is wondering what I'm wondering?

At first, I was wondering the same thing, but I guess it's not possible, because of the Exynoss Quad-Core processor..
Maybe you should ask some of the devs personally
I dont think quad core is a problem. ICS and jb are well known as not been capable of a correct management of more than 4 cores...

good
The S3 is really good on Jelly bean you must do an update
I'm on dli7 and no its not comparable with s2 with 2.3.5 aboard in smoothness and fastness.

Paranoid Android (CM10) is much smoother than leaked JB due to the differences in framework as it uses more butter friendly AOSP.
I think we are a little OT.
question is GB on s3.
Btw I'm a crap wiz apps fan so no way for me to go aosp/aokp for the moment (I don't see why I have to, when my s2 had in a stock rom)

It would theoretically be possible to port CM7 to the device but noone in his right mind is gonna do this endeavour.
Most people complaining about ICS/JB being slower are referring to the transition animations.
Try going to System Settings->Developer Options and setting the Window-, Transition and Animator scales to 0 or 0.5
Stock ICS itself is only somewhat bigger than GB, make sure you get rid of bloatware.
Hmmm... GB on S3? Nah....
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Huh? GB on the S3? How would want this? ICS and JB are so much better. I'm using MIUI at the moment, before I had the LG8-stock-fw + root but without any lags.

Look don't get me wrong but I already tried everything.
And trust me today I was putting my hand on my girlfriend s2 and that is another world.
What is different is basically the responsiveness in regards to the touch. And somehow the touch precision.
I put on my dli7 the developer mode to see the small dot wherever I'm touching the screen. Most of the time when I'm scrolling I'm seeing this dot this mean that my finger is faster than the touchscreen. This would never happen on a s2 and that is what I'm feeling as something really missing.
BTW to answer your question ive transition at 0 and everything what possible is demanded to GPU only.

Hi, sometimes I wake up to an extremely hot Redmi Note 2 (maybe that's where the "Red" came from)
Help anyone? Does this help by installing a custom ROM or updating to the latest MIUI 7 official version?
I'm on 7.0.8.0
Thank you everyone.
I'm sorry if I double posted or someone mentioned this before

Happend to me once or twice, but only on cyanogenmod early beta and aosp roms. Now I'm on the latest global beta MIUI 7 5.12.1 and no issues so far.
Just get xiaomi.eu weekly,stable sucks [emoji14]

The Note 3 Special Edition is 2mm longer.
Most cases won't fit.

Ops, i forget this detail, but he can try to mod a tpu case
One guy in MIUI forum said Redmi Note 2 case fits. It's a possibility
For now, I have not found any special cases for our Special Edition. Standard accessories, e.g. screen protectors, are just 2mm too short to fit the whole screen. Hard cases will not fit. Soft cases do not fit perfectly, see photo.

Redmi note 3 special differ from non-special only for 2mm length and modem with B20?
Or there are other hardware differences?

It has a different bootloader and partition layout and was shipped with Android 6.0.
I am using the same case that @dieterhaack uses.

Not the topic of this thread, but yes. It runs the same custom roms. You just have to install the right firmware that you'll find in the Q&A section.
Kate is the technical name for the Special Edition.
