Hey you guys -- is anyone else having trouble with the Xposed Framework? I installed the Xperia version a while ago and haven't had any issue until today. I saw that some of my modules had updates, but when I tried to open ANY module page -- the screen went black and then my tablet became super jittery and would eventually reboot.
Any ideas what might be going on? I tried disabling the Xposed Framework and THEN going to the download page -- but no dice. Same black screen just without the random reboots.

Hello, I just started getting random reboots from my generic kitkat tablet and I know it's from the ads that's build in the tablet and nothing else because when I turn off Wi-Fi the tablet is fine no reboots what so ever. Now I did download and install an ad blocker it stops the Ad from loading up completely but a loading screen still comes up and that's when it reboots the tablet. As the title states this is a constant thing and it's really annoying, I wish I could install a custom rom or even CWM recovery but since the tablet came out not long ago there aren't any available at the moment.... So if anybody experienced the same issue my question is are there any other way to get the ads to completely in order to stop the reboots? Thanks in advance
i've narrow it down to it being an issue with the Wi-Fi (i've tried factory reset and that didn't work either) and I see that some are having issue with this as well :crying:
If you are familar with ADB I can try to help you if you can get a logcat so we can see what is happening right before the reboot.

THANKS!! but it's been a couple of years since I really dealt with ADB that i think I would need a refresher on how to set it up (which im trying to look up now) and since my tablet came out early during the summer and there's no custom recovery for it im actually curious to create my own for it
Logcat
here's the logcat of my tablet for anyone that may be interested in helping me, thanks in advance

You neglected to tell us that you are running Xposed Framework on your tablet :silly:
First, disable all your Xposed Modules and reboot then see if you can duplicate the random reboot problem.
- If yes, uninstall the Xposed Framework and reboot then try again.
- If no, Reenable your Modules one at a time while trying to duplicate until you find the moduile that is causing the reboot.
Can you list the modules that you are running?
If you want to get rid of the advertisements just add the ips to the hosts file in system/etc

Xposed didn't cause it because it was rebooting on wifi once I did a factory reset I attached another logcat this time factory reset settings
I did notice something though... if I disable the wifi then reset the tablet, let it sit for a minute then turn the wifi back on it don't seem to reboot itself like 5-10 seconds it takes a few mins to reboot (unlike if i was to leave the wifi running while resetting)

add these lines to your hosts file in system/etc/hosts
So today my N5 suddenly rebooted and Xposed became inactive, and it refuses to start again. I tried reinstalling it, but it didn't help. Everything was fine and working great until today, so I don't understand why it isn't working now.
Any ideas?
*N5 5.0.1.
NVM, fixed it.
Reinstalled both the framework and the installer app and now it's working again.
Hello guys,
So, i have rooted my Device (BQ M5) 1 Month ago and installed Xposed on it. Everything was fine until yesterday, where i was underway and streaming via Chrome a video. I didn't close Chrome and simply locked my phone. Several minutes later, when I tried to unlock my phone, i directly noticed heavy lag (response 2seconds - 2min - locks device). I thought a reboot might solve this issue, but i was wrong. I started to uninstall several previously installed apps and tweaks (where the newest App/Tweak was 8 days "young".
After a reboot, still heavy lagging. I opened TWRP and Cleared Dalvik and Cache, did a reboot in System, Recovery and Bootloader. I even flashed the device with a complete fresh OS. The problem still remains. After several re-flashings, some cache clear, factory resets and SuperSu unrootement i somehow managed to get it to work again. So I started from 0 again, and installed all previous apps, and root apps. Everything was fine for several hours (connected to Wi-Fi), so i was installing Xposed again, with 2 apps/tweaks: Flat Style bar, youtube adaway. Everything was still allright untill i left the house. I unlocked my device 50min later (for the first time when i left my house) and boom, the lagging was back. (Don't have internet outside my house).
As soon as i came back, i retried everything to remove the lag, however I did now several things in addition for over 3h and the lagging sill remains. I down and upgraded the OS, formatted the data, did every clear in TWRP and Bootloaded that i could find. I reset it via Settings and flashing. I installed SuperSu and de-installed it.
I don't know what else i could do, to solve this issue. The lag remains when using TWRP, Bootloader, using the Device, or when the Booting animation of android appears (slow animation or with a "fps of 0,05").
Please help me!
Device: BQ M5
Had Android 5.1.1. on it and Installed xposed sdk22 arm, and installed SuperSu via TWRP.
All files were downloaded from official posts here on xda, or from the brands website.
p.s. Even the littlest information which could help, please share!
p.p.s Here's a video that shows whats going wrong. After the reboot the booting animation continues like this around 1-3min. and then at the unlock screen, the "lag" still remains. What i noticed too, is that the charging animation in the top right is running flawlessly, however opening apps and all the rest is really slow!

There is possibility that status bar will not change colors in apps as it does in normal Lollipop ROM, instead it will remain white or black. It still will be transparent on Desktop, tho. I guess it's fault of ported boot.img since with stock boot.img it's working fine. But there is workaround.
You will need Xposed Installer, Xposed Framework (xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip) from this thread
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
and Flat Style Colored Bars from Google Playstore.
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bocharov.xposed.fscb
Install Xposed app -> reboot to Recovery and flash xposed-v79-sdk22-arm.zip -> reboot phone. (It will take a while since android has to update a lot of files from Xposed. It will restart couple of times, don't be scared.)
Now open Xposed and go to Modules -> Check Flat Style Colored Bars module and restart phone.
After that, status bar will change colors again. Sadly they wont be tinted since it's free version of module so at light colors there will be black icons instead of white.

For V78 and 79 approximately 5-10 min and made a normal demmarage then after there was a black screen him was unusable I just had the possibility " Switch off, or put in silencer " by pressing on the button off
First of all you want to root your phone using KingRoot then change it to SuperSu using SuperSuMe v9.1.9, then Install its binnaries and update it to newest version using Play Store. Reboot. Then you want to check those two posts mentioned here. After that reboot phone and download this app. Check if it shows "SeLinux Permissive" if so, then you can flash Xposed Framework v81 and after 5mins it should work.
Blackscreen will show mostlikely when phone is rooted using kingroot, if you change to supersu you will get bootloop. Unless you change SeLinux to permissive.
Hello i tried to force permissive but i have an error with the mkdir
"mkdir failed for /system/su.d ,File exists"
I had it too actually. SuperSu makes this folder when you are installing it. Next steps should work without problem and after reboot it should set it to permissive. I'm not sure if this terminal method is enough since I first created that file for init.d and minutes later I did the terminal thing but it worked.
Hi!
I'm rooted on stock .570, with xposed installed aswell. The root and xposed are working fine for some time after startup, suddenly Facebook stops working (getting this error message. wich comes over and over again, with random time between each, sometimes 0.5seconds). When this happens, root checker says I'm not rooted, and xposed installer says the xposed framework is not installed.
Once I restart my phone, the root and xposed are working fine again. Any suggestions on what's wrong and how to fix this? (preferably without factory reset)
Thanks!
