Hello,
This is my first post here. Just now I was trying to flash PhilZ Touch using Odin. While it's still in process, I accidently pulled the usb cable from my phone. I thought it was fine. So I removed my battery since at that time I was still at download mode. But when I tried to on my phone, it stucked at the image that I attached below. What should I do to fix it?
That's forced download mode - to fix, flash stock firmware with Odin - as you're already in download mode, you don't need to try & boot into it, just connect the phone to the PC via USB & off you go. Problems flashing ? Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting thread stickied in General has the info you need to get a successful flash.

Thank you for the reply sir. Can you explain it more detail? Is it just flashing the stock firmware with Odin will fix it? Or maybe there's some other steps that I need to do?
'...to fix, flash stock firmware with Odin...' (I won't be posting this a 3rd time), thread stickied near top of Q&A titled 'Flash stock firmware' has instructions.
Alright. I'll try it out. Right now, still downloading the stock firmware. Btw, I'm using I9100G so, are the steps still the same? Because what it says on the thread is

Yes. Just make sure you download I9100G firmware, he's wrong - usage of Odin is exactly the same for all I9100 variants - extract .tar.md5 file from zip you DL from Samfirmware, junk .dll file in the zip, put .tar.md5 file in PDA section of Odin, click start.
I've already given you more than enough info that you could easily have found by searching, so I won't be posting to this thread again. Up to you to fix it now...

Hi,
I think I bricked my phone. The phone is stucked in the Samsung GT-I9300 screen and I can't boot in recovery mode, I only boot in download mode
Someone can bring me the links for the stock rom but which are in separate files.
I need the CSC, the bootloader, PHONE and the rom (PDA) separately.
I follow some threads but I always receive the error NAND WRITE START.
I try flashing the PIT file but doesnt work.
If someone had fix a similar situation like that, please let me know
My phone is Samsung SIII I9300 (International) 16 gb
Thanks in advance

I'veen searching for this files and I can't find them , I look in the general section and Q&A and Troubleshooting section too and I only find the single file of the stock rom i need the files separately.
Or any advice to try to unbrick my phone
the single file conains all the files you need (.tar is a version of a zip file)
download it and extract them
you are trying to make this harder than it is
seriously, i suggest reading up on things before attempting to do anything
Try flashing without the PIT File

Dude try flashing without the .PIT file. All of the available S3 Firmwares are in just 1 single file.

Sorry If I mix some topics, but my problem is I bricked my phone.
When I try to flash the device I receive the error NAND WRITE and reading some users advice me to flash with the separate files, but i can't find the files.
In sammobile.com I never find the file when I search for the firmware of my device appear the loading messages and never end to load

Well, can anyone share a recovery code for kies?
I was only helping a friend revive his device when its so bad now. Sheesh.
Warranty is over. Can't enter any mode.
You have to get into download mode & flash a stock rom with Odin. How ? Sticky near the top of Q&A (it's for I9100 but the process is the same, just make sure you get an I9100G rom or you'll bust the phone permanently). Also, search for Hopper8's 'Odin won't flash' thread if you have problems flashing.
^^^^what he said. In addition to that, use my guide if you can't enter download mode. There's a section aimed at that.

I can't get into download mode, which is the main issue. The power+home+ vol up combination wont work. Neither does any other combinations. It asked for Kies but Kies needs you to enter either mode. Which I can't.

Its extremely hard to obtain a JIG in my country though. Any newly found methods? The owner allowed me to try everything.
Hello everyone, I'm new here, and I don't know if this is the right place to post, but anyway...
I tried to flash the Jellybean 4.1.2 OFFICIAL ROM in my rooted GS2-19100 via ODIN, but in the middle of the process my USB cable disconnected from the PC, and obviously, ODIN FAILED.
Exactly at the same time, the S2 showed this message:
firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again
I connected again to the PC and opened KIES. It didn't recognized my phone.
It won't boot, but I can enter in DOWNLOAD MODE, what doesn't happen with recovery mode.
What should I do??? Plz HELP
You need to flash a stock rom via Odin in download mode successfully this time. Search for Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread, info/suggestions in that thread should enable you to do this.

I downloaded Check Fus Downloader and followed the intructions, but when I press CHECK FIRMWARE it says:
No firmware info retrieved for given data.
I've put my region and the same thing happens with other regions.
Checkfus doesn't work anymore, so you won't be able to use it to download firmware. If you don't already have a stock rom downloaded & ready to flash, unfortunately for you, HotFile has been closed down so Samfirmware's files aren't available at the moment. And every other place to download SGS2 firmware links back to Samfirmware's stuff on HotFile. So you're going to have to wait until Samfirmware has their stuff up/hosted somewhere else. Keep an eye on their site for an ETA for this.
Edit - Actually, I just checked AndroidFirmwares.net; seems they have their own files hosted somewhere else. Look for the firmware you need/download it from there. Check Samsung-Updates.com if AndroidFirmwares doesn't have what you need.
Hi Guys,
My S2 unable to enter OS. I had flash different roms and once the OS is boot up, the phone suddenly turn off.
No matter which roms I flashed, it still the same.
Still able to enter boot loader and download mode.
Please help. Thanks.
Get stock rom for country/carrier from Samfirmware (any one, but not 4.0.4), flash in download mode with Odin following instructions in thread stickied near top of Q&A titled 'Flash stock firmware' = clean slate.

Bro, I already flashed with stock roms. GB and also JB. Both are still same.
Then I guess your phone is busted then bro, eh ?
Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General, find it, download the 3 part firmware linked in the thread, flash that (which will wipe your phone), then flash stock firmware for your country/carrier again & go from there.
If that doesn't work, I recommend you download as many different stock roms as you can & keep flashing them. If it isn't a case of NAND corruption, you'll fix it by persevering, if it is then you're getting a motherboard replacement or a new phone.

Hi Bro,
I solved it. I flashed all kind of roms. At last is the battery KO already. =.=lll
So as the title suggests i have an dead home button and bootloop. This means that i can't boot into recovery to do a factory reset.I flashed the stock rom via odin but it still bootloops because of the previous cyanogenmod rom i had. I can't enter recovery by the up-power-home key combination and i also can't enter by the adb reboot recovery at bootloop.
I don't know if there is anything else to do, Is there any method i can wipe data and do a factory reset from odin ?
Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General; download the 3 part firmware linked to in thread & flash with Odin - this will wipe the phone & hopefully get rid of whatever is causing bootloop. Problems with flash ? Go through troubleshooting steps in thread methodically until you get a successful flash.

Oh my God, it worked! Thank you very much, i cannot believe it f****** worked! THANKS!
Good news, glad it worked. No probs Don't forget to thank the OP in Hopper's thread, he put a lot of time/effort into putting it together to make it the 'go-to' thread for S2 on here in these situations.
Hello!
I am facing a really similar problem, however, i can't enter the download mode (also because of the broken home button) to flash the 3 part firmware that was linked in that thread. Do you have any other idea? i also tryed the adb download mode but the computer is not recognizing the usb (SAMSUNG USB MTP failed).
Thanks in advance.
The only thing that *might* work is to force the phone into download mode with a USB jig.....then follow @Hopper8s guide as @MistahBungle suggested to the other poster. If your phone is bootlooping as opposed to being completely dead, you have a reasonable chance that the jig will work.
My wife says I'm a phone geek....She's probably right
hey!!
Thanks for the reply!! After about 50 trys, the phone miraculously entered the download mode with the technique of holding the volume down pressed and plugging a charger in it. After that i followed the steps described in the guide, flashed the 3 part firmware and worked like a charm!
Thx a lot for the help!!
