I download and unzip root.zip,copy the files on the root of my SD card,
when I download and unzip Fat+Free+RLS5+-+odex.zip, I got a file named androidinstall.tar, is it not be namde "syste.img" or "system.sqsh"? how to install it?

make a map called: andboot
place the androidinstall file in that map
the other files in the zip place it in the root of sd card
then:
start haret, press run
hold down te volume up button
in the menu:
press installsystem
when it's finished press quit
android will start
greetings

Just tested, bluetooth not working...
I have not the knowhow to fix that, not yet...

Unfortunately there is no developper left with a Nike to fix the kernel (zImage) in order to get the followings things working:
- volume control whithin calls
- vibration
- bluetooth
- camera
The rest runs perfect and overclocking the device to 530mhz makes the Nike with Android such a cool device that maybe one day a developper gets one (they are so cheap to buy) and does the fixes.
Let's wait and hope...

After a charge during night, with normal usage during the day (I use it for the job 4 calls, a bit of apps like facebook, twitter and news) I am left before going to bed with about 40-30 % when charging again.
Battery good, like the other post..it depends how much you do data

yes i face the same problem but not always....there is single tone sound when this happen....
hello there devs, i got a problem here, i preatty major one. I just finished building my CM7 for my Mini done some tweeks to the build but now i can check or uncheck anything in settings. I cant turn on/off background data, cant turn GPS on.If i check an option and i scroll down lets asume, the option will uncheck itself. Have anyone encounter this issue before?

yes it is...the rom works, but i only got this problem, i have to reset the device to disable background data.

Compiling isn't for everyone, I would just use the official rom if you are having issues compiling it from source.

Yea it is, if you did it right, you wouldn't be having issues. I have no idea what you did to build your rom. You have posted no details. Some people shouldn't be doing this, either, go into more details about your setup, or deal with that fact that its broken. You could remove your "tweaks" maybe that will fix it for you.

Well, it just sounds like you need to do some more work on your kang before release. No those issues are not normal for cm7.
solved, colosal mistake made by me, id used and old/experimental build.prop , this was the source of all problems.
Is there an application that automatically takes a photo at certain specified times (for example, at 8am,11am,2pm,5pm)?

First of all, just so you know this a religious app, and I won't be discussing any religion on this thread so please don't
The app is supposed to download images and show them. but the problem is, when running MM I was able to use it perfectly but when upgrading to N after the splash screen the app shows a white screen.
Tried to downgrade to MM and use the app for a couple of house then upgraded to N and the same problem happens.
If anyone could help with this.
This sounds more like a problem with the app not working on N, so your best bet is to try and get in contact with the developers of the app and have them fix it.

that's what I thought, but when I had the P9 lite running nougat, it was working perfectly, I also asked a friend to test it on 7.1.1 and it did work
So I think the problem is with Vulkan API;
I can't see why you went through the trouble of downgrading for that app while there are plenty of way better alternatives.

Well not that much, on MM it was running perfectly, but because of the Vulkan API in N it didn't work
I got a weird problem in my device 3/32GB.
No matter whatever nougat ROM I install, I am not able to send or receive SMS.
MIUI and Oreo ROMS are working fine
Tried flashing different firmwares with no luck
Any help from anyone would be appreciated
Add your number in SMS settings
On SMS settings, there is a option that must say "phone number". For me, it work put my number with the country code (like in whatsapp +1). Install Google messages too.

I've got a small feeling that this has something to do with your carrier. That's just pure speculation, however.

Don't know, but I am on AOSP Exended 5.2 and SMS is working great in all other oreo ROMS too even in MIUI9
