I own a smartphone Sony Experia U with Android version 4.0.4
When activated the tethering show a network error message and than the tethering does not work.
How should I proceed?

Hi everyone, i flash my Xperia X10 mini to Android 2.1 last nigth and everything was ok , but now i have two specific problems with the phone... 1.- I can receive internet by 3g mode, i configure the APN but only i have EDGE but not 3G, i live in Venezuela and my mobile operators is Movilnet... 2.. The phone some times reboot.

most provably you flashed it with the wrong model number, E10a for E10i for example, check the box that you mini came with it will show what model number you had, and then check your phone, goto settings, about phone, model number.
Get the right model number flash for you phone and you should have 3G back on line.

i have the following problem with magicsim 28th (no cut) on my xperia arc (originally with android 2.3.3, now i have just updated the phone with the latest SE updates but on the phone info still remain the android version 2.3.3...but the software on the phone has changed!!)
I switch between the two sim card with the STK menu, but when i use the sim 2 there isn't 3G connection! i have to switch off the phone to obtain 3G connection.
I've tried a workaround with flight mode but it doesn't work.
Before the update the 3G connection works fine .
Anyone with my problem?

I've installed MiniCM9 Rom with ICS 4.0 successefully, but i've a major problem, my phone does not connect to the Vodafone network mobile provider. I have a Vodafone simcard and my phone doesn´t get connection to any network.
Anyone could help?
Additional Info: Seems that the phone doesn´t recognize the simcard

you are on wrong forums mate.
This is Xperia X10 forums.We dont have any minicm9 rom.
As for your problem I think you had sim pin before on simcard. you need to disable it first in GB rom or othre phone and use it on minicm9

Since I've updated my Xperia Ray using PC Companion I wasn't able to register on the 2G Network
tried flashing many firmwares and ROMs but still facing the problem
but the 3G works fine and the IMEI isn't blacklisted at all

my sony xperia c2305 is not getting 3g service enabled .actually i have installed custom rom of karthik sir 5.0.1 pure lollipop on my device but when i try to select 3g network example :idea 3g network when i select any 3g network of sim i inserted it shows try again later.
