Hey guys. I flashed this zRelease: March19th
STOCK ROM] [FTF] Xperia Z Ultra (C6806) 14.3.A.0.681 "US Unbranded" from another forum I found n this website. Everything was working fine until this morning that I connected my phone to the computer and the. 757 update came up. I updatedthe phone and now I realized that LTE is gone. I still have the option in the quick settings to turn on/off LTE.....
This is very frustrating. Is anyone having the same problem? How do I fix it? Should I flash. 681 again?
Thanks in advance for any help u guys can provide!

It might not be available in your area yet.
I live in South Africa and I always get the update late
if you want the update, what I do is just flash the ftf
Th Xperia P JB ftf can be downloaded here

thanks mate
much appreciated
does this require rooting..boot unlock...
Nope, Flashing with Flashtools doesn't require bootloader unlocking or Rooting.
I don't own a Z ultra but a Xperia Z since we just got 4.3 I was just wondering how long it took you guys to get 4.3? From that I could sort of judge how long I might have to wait...

maybe it will be available along with this New build 14.2.A.1.114 which has been certified :good:
Just thought I'd provide an update:
I rooted my Xperia Z using this simple tool :
http://download.cnet.com/Kingo-Android-Root/3000-2094_4-75996768.html
I then downloaded ES file explorer and enabled RW in the root directory.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en_GB
I edited the build.prop file within the /system folder and changed my customization number to the Xperia Z Three Network one, this allowed me to receive the 4.3 update. From doing my searches it appears 3 are very quick to push out any new update Sony gives, so since my customization number is now locked to the 3 network one, I should get 4.4 very quickly when Sony push it out. The only disadvantage of this method seems to be the 3 boot animation that shows up every time you turn on the phone , but apart from that it's fine.
4.3 is lovely!

Your Tablet Z... Is it LTE SGP321 or WiFi?? If its SGP321 then i would really be greatful if you could provide me with an ftf ... i've got a uk o2 branded one which i obviously dont want xD hence why i need an unbranded uk firmware and not singapore or any other country for that matter

Mines WIFI I'm afraid mate. Take a look around the Xperia Tablet Z forum. Sure someone uploaded the correct FTF.
Netherlands also nothing. This rom is still ok, no rush for updating yet.
I am with EE in UK and have had my 4.3 update some time ago (although I bought the phone sim free via Amazon).
That's so strange mine is uk so free no update here
Tried flashing a Singapore and Central Europe FTF for my UK C6833, but both failed to boot.
Mine also still hasn't arrived in UK on a sim-free Amazon.
It's certainly no biggy, but every single day I use this phone I find something to disappointment me a little more.
ahhh damn lol... i tried looking but nobody has the EXACT same one i need... i eventually managed to customize my cda to the uk by rooting it via the older firmware first and then did an upgrade which i then used to make an FTF... so both my Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Tablet Z are running on UK firmware now even though the Z Ultra was originally from Hong Kong and the Tablet Z (O2 Branded with O2 apps) was from O2 UK xD... i could of kept as it was but i didnt want the bloatware that comes with HK firmware and boy is it alot compared to UKs

Cheers bud. Always useful as a backup!
hello people....
i had updated and rooted my Xperia Z Ultra C6802 to 14.3.A.0.757 few days back and today i realized that NFC icon does not show up on taskbar even when it is switched on.....i downgraded the firmware and i get the NFC icon on the phone. And after rooting and again updating to the latest version when the phone booted up for the first time it showed NFC firmware is updating plz don't switch off the phone and that also was successful
So was just wondering if this a bug with the firmware or something wrong at my end..... can someone plz confirm the same with this version of firmware on his phone

It still would not appear. I think its a software problem for non LTE XZU. I tried flashing a LTE ftf to my C6802 and NFC icon is there But upon going back to non LTE ftf or to the origina firmware version, l NFC does not appear again.

Does anyone have issues with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat with the Xperia Z Ultra C6833?
I just got this phone and I was wondering if I should hold off on updating as I read some people are having issues with it.
Thanks.

Thanks for that info, will try it!
I have a C6833 in Australia and have yet to receive the Kitkat update, it's still stuck on 4.3 for me.
any idea if I'm missing something? When I check system updates it says I'm up to date with the latest rom 14.2.A.1.136
