Hi, I just got my Z Ultra and i noticed that I could not change my lockscreen wallpaper. Everytime I go to settings->personalization-.lock screen ->album and pick a picture, it just exits back out to the settings page. Ive tried factory reseting, and changing to different themes but it still wont let me set my own lockscreen wallpaper. my phone model is the C6833 running on 4.4.2 Build Number 14.3.A.0.757
Does anyone else have this issue? I tried searching for it in the forums but I cant seem to find simliar posts
Thanks
Hmm, I'm also on 757 on a C6833, and everything works fine here, so not sure what's wrong.

Hi, try to change the complete theme and see if that works. If not, I don't know what's wrong. I can change wallpapers with no problems.

Hello everyone, has anyone else experienced this issue?
I have a 640x480 wallpaper which looks great when viewed in album, or in my computer but when applied as a wallpaper, it loses quality.
HTC asked me if I have updated to their latest firmware, did update fix the issue for you?
I've noticed this, it seems to apply for the lock screen as well as the home wallpaper. Running the latest ROM doesn't seem to have fixed it.
Seems like the pictures don't get cropped correctly. The thing is that it happens with all the pictures, despite the fact that they are the correct resolution.
Download Wallpaper Set & Save. It will keep your wallpaper looking nice and shiny

That did the job, thanks. But the thing is that this is an issue that needs to be fixed by HTC, so that we do not need to have an extra application installed, that fixes it.
WOW!!!...I saw this thread but was convinced there was no real solution, but I was wrong!! Works amazingly well!!!
BTW, does anyone know how to get this to work with the lockscreen? Or what does it exactly do so that I can do it manually with the lockscreen pic?

I'd like to know this also!
Hi all, after some help, running stock 2. 3 with some minor customization.
just wondering if its possible to change the lockscreen carrier name to something else, I have tried the 'carrier name' apk but it doesn't seem to work, the carrier has changed in the system/etc/forgotwhatitscalled.xml but even after a reboot my lockscreen still shows O2 UK...
So can I change this on a stock Rom (rooted) or am I stuck with o2???

normal method doesn't work. tried quickpic too and no joy no optino to set as anything other than contact photo or wallpaper. no lockscreen option
An extra option appears right after you make a new thread on leaked ICS ROMs.
anyone that isn't a prick want to reply?
i changed mine using the stock gallery, once on the picture -> menu ->set as and voila!

Hey guys, I've got a problem.
After playing with a bunch of ROMs I found out that there are certain (just a few) wallpapers which, when applied, are shown as if they were broken. As far as I remember it started after I applied original CM10 nightly. I thought it was related to the ROM I was on so I even flashed the original stock ICS and the problem still exists. It doesn't seem to be related to the extension of the wallpaper either. This only happens on my phone, a friend of mine also has LwW and he can apply this wallpaper with no problems. Have you got any ideas on how to solve it?
I'm enclosing some screenshots and a sample wallpaper that's not working.

Hi, have you tried it with other launcher such as apex or nova?
Btw, try to clear your gallery data and cache to see if it fix the problem...

Yes, I've tried Nova and the built in trebuchet. I'm running ZellyCream rom now and the problem still persists :/ clearing data and cache doesn't help either. Do you think it could be related to the resolution of those wallpapers?

I don't think it is the resolution, I always choose a very high resolution for my wallpaper without any problem.
Anyways, I don't have any idea left so you probably have to wait someone else. Sorry...

It's ok, thanks for help anyway
After doing the "bump" I've noticed after rebooting my phone my lockscreen changes back to the default white ink thing. Not sure if it's something to do with having recovery or what. The only changes I've done since bump recovery is I uninstalled all the apps I had frozen after making a nandroid. Has anybody else experienced this. Thanks in advance.

I have not. My lockscreen wallpaper has remained unchanged after multiple reboots. Are you on stock launcher?
No issues here with anything described.

Running Nova. If I let it settle for a few before I unlock it then it's fine. Oh well. Thanks for the help.

I'm having this same issue and it is SO annoying!!! I am on the T-Mobile D851 model rooted with Cloudy rom installed. Did you end up finding a solution?
Mine and my wife's did that
a solution?
I have this problem on my D855 rooted with cloudy. Launcher is nova.
Someone out there with a proper solution?
Many thanks...
Try wiping cache in recovery... It should refresh the nova launcher data that way it can reload everything. Chance's are something just went wrong when installing it.
