I upgrade my Lumia 920 (RM-821_apac_hong_kong_xxx) from GDR1 to GDR3 (current firmware: 3051.40000.1349.0007),but when i calling other people, they can't hear me, only when put the microphone (bottom microphone) directly facing my mouth, then they can hear my voice.
and when i using Headsets or turn on the extroverted , everything is ok.
How to fix this problem ?

Anyone know how to configure the maximum audio output on the Nokia Lumia 800? I find the speakers on the lumia to be quite lacking.
My old WP7 device, the samsung focus, allowed users to configure these settings using diagnostic codes.
I was wondering if the Lumia had the same.
no codes for lumia
Code:
##634#
but it wont help you a lot with crappy sound on Lumia
Thanks, I guess i'll wait for an update from Nokia or something.
I recently switched to a Lumia 800 from an iPhone 4S, and ever since most of my calls have ended in drops! Some calls would last barely 2-3 minutes before dropping out. I had no such problems with the 4S on the same network, so this is definitely not a network issue (Vodafone Australia).
Did anyone else experience anything like this?
Are You on the latest firmware ? My colleagues 800 had the same issue until I updated it to .12072.

make sure the proximity sensor is working properly, load the diagnostics tool and check from there...

Now I think it's the proximity sensor at fault. Although the diagnostic tool didn't give weird results, I remember putting many calls on "hold" and "mute" automatically when the phone was held up to my ears. Is my unit faulty or this is a general software bug?
could be both, because the sensor in badly placed, when talking on the phone, the sensor might be where your sideburns are and when this happens the screen does not turn off so make sure you keep the sensor on the ear and not on the hair...
I am from india and i am not able to call into any toll free numbers from my lumia 920 which i bought from abudhabi. Is anyone experiencing the same or is it just me? Is it because i bought it from outside india. I tried from my other mobile numbers and the toll free numbers is all working well and call goes smoothly from same carrier BSNL when tried from my other mobile phones( android & old Nokia N82). I think some settings is messed up or some problems as i bought from outside India. Can someone help me how to solve this problem also does anyone else experiencing the same?
Thanks,
Jithin.
try to find other lumia 920 in india and try to make a toll call to see if it's an issue with your phone or it's a general issue among the lumia 920 devices
Hi,
Accidentally I damaged my primary mic while opening the case. I cnt use the mic for any call unless I put the phone into speaker mode. Which means the top noise cancellation mic works fine which gets used in the speaker mode.
Now bigger problem is, I ordered this device online and its an AT&T Evitare model. The service guys here in India said the international version mic will not set in this model.
Can someone provide me a link from where I can order the mic strip for AT&T one X+ model??
Regards,
Bubun
My Nokia lumia 800 is somehow broken.
When someone calls to it, the display blacks out, and you can't do anything before the caller ends the call.
My friend flashed the stock os but it didn't work.(it never had a custom ROM)
It can be used to call normally.
