Exported theme - Themer General Discussion

I modified on of the themes and have saved it by using the exported option. When I go browse themes and look at the my theme section and into exported, there's no thumbnail image. Is there I way I can put an image so if I change theme and forget what I made I can see it instead of installing it again haha. Thanks

Just make a screenshot, name it exactly like your theme and put it in the thumbnail folder.

[PACK]Wallpapers[Updated to v2.0//300+ new photos]

There seems to be a lack of wallpaper galleries in here so i thought i'd post my own. It's not the best but hopefully you can find some use for these.
Bear in mind that this gallery is a work in progress and i've been collecting/editing wallpapers for some time now therefore its impossible to give proper credits to the creators, if your work is included let me know and i'll give you credit or remove the file if you prefer. However to my knowledge every single one of these is being distributed freely on the internet.
All the wallpapers are tuned to work properly on Galaxy 3. This gallery includes both portrait and landscape wallpapers.
Instructions:
- Simply unzip the file and put the folder on your sd card
- On the homepage press the menu button (that's the left one) and press wallpaper
- Select the wallpaper of your choice via the main gallery app you have
- Enjoy
If you are having trouble with the cropping it's because your phone remembers the mode of you current wallpaper mode (be it portait or landscape), i suggest using an app such as Wallpaper Wizardrii everytime you want to switch modes. Just select the wallpaper you want and set it as exact, all the rest of the same mode will work fine after that even on gallery app.
EDIT : v2.0 is now live. The new version contains 300+ new wallpapers and also some tidying up of the old files. There are 2 uploads a lite one and the normal one. The lite version contains only the new wallpapers, for those that have downloaded the first package (unzip and copy the files of the folder to folder you have on your sd card). The normal version contains all the wallpapers (that is to say 500+ files!!!), to install unzip the file and put the folder in your sd card (delete the previous folder if you have it!).
In this update i strived for quality. All the files are carefully chosen and resized to match the Galaxy 3 screen perfectly. Almost all landscape wallpapers are finetuned for 3 homepages although they should look great in other setups too, please post your experience.
Samples :
v 1.0
v 2.0
Wallpapers Gallery v1.0
Wallpapers Gallery v2.0 lite
Wallpapers Gallery v2.0
Please add your own galleries/wallpapers or give suggestions as to what you like or not

Portrait ones are 240x400 (which fits exactly the dimension of the screen), landscape ones are 480x400 (most of these have been tuned for 3paged homescreens, give it a try and you 'll know what i mean)

Q(How to) change icons with a batch operation?

Alright I know how to do this, but I am wanting to change a lot of my icons in the sense Rom I am running. Is there a way to do it in batch form? What is the easiest simplest solution to this? Any help from you expert themers would be very helpful. Thanks....
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
First, if you are replacing status bar icons, the easiest way to do this is open the apk with 7zip and drag your new icons into the correct res/drawable... folder.
If you insist on a batch operation, you can look for a VillainRom theme package. They use a script to replace (and it is flashed in recovery). I suggest finding one of these and looking at the scripts inside to learn how it works. You basically create the folder with the images you want to replace and it does the work for you. Be sure to thank the creators of this very handy tool.
Finally, you could create a batch file that uses 7zip to do it. I actually did this for a brief time until I came across the VR themes.
You could use my ReZone theme as a guideline for doing what you want. The ONLY downside is it doesn't work with TWRP recovery.
Thanks for the replies....
What I should have specified is the app icons in the app drawer, and desktop. I downloaded the anti apple icons, and want to make a custom theme using them for myself. So I can open the apks, and change the icon, but that takes forever. I was wondering if there is a themer program that would allow me to do it in a batch format. That way u wouldn't have to do it for 75 apps individually. I know that you can install theme packs on aosp, and was hoping there was a way to do it with sense. Again, thanks for the interest, and help...

easy enough if you are using nova or apex launcher and doing an icon set or viperes rom has this option
Yeah, I was hoping to do it on Dsb's 3.6 Rom. I may switch back to viper when the update drops. I was just hoping there was an easy way to do it to sense roms that the themers were willing to share....

No batch format, but ninja morph is about the fastest way to do it on a phone.

Its a pain tracking down the icons for each app but a vrteme could work

My original suggestion is what you want to use, it works on Sense. First thing you would do is clean out my folders or just make new ones following the folder structure. Then basically all you have to do is find the apps icon name (extract original .apk). Create the folders and add your new icon. Then just go into recovery and flash it... BHAM!! new icon. Lets not make this difficult. It will work on Sense or AOSP ROMs. Very simple thing to do..
EDIT:
I have attached a sample .zip were I change 3 icons from my Theme the Camera, Gmail, and YouTube. If you follow that format (icons have different names and locations) you can change any icon you want and all you have to do is flash it.
Thanks Zone. Started last night. You say bam, but more like bbaaaaaaammnnnnnn. I will finish it up through the week, and post it in homescreens thread with a special thanks to you..

I second this. Having the location will keep the theme looking unified.

you could always try to ask whoever did the theme if they could supply the icons
But it will be much easier if the icons were stored in the same folder as wallpapers. And I don't know who did the theme

Screenshots of exported theme in My Themes/Exported menu

Hello.
I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find an answer.
How can I add some preview screenshots to my exported theme, so that they show when I open up My Themes/Exported in theme selection menu please?
TIA!

Hi,
1. Take a screenshot of the homescreen.
2. Rename the image so that it's the same as the theme you saved (make sure they match exactly).
3. Paste the image into the /sdcard/MyColorScreen/Themer/Exported/thumbs/ folder.
Good luck!
That has work great, thanks for your reply.
Is there any way to include multiple screenshots?
