I'm not sure but i thought that the yellow tint is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with software whatsoever.
PS: i'm from Belgium too, installed the CH version and no problems here.

I don't think someone will ever notice that you didn't install the official over the air update you were supposed to get.
And also, it's not like you unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom. It's still an official Sony rom.
I don't see any obvious reason why a repair center would check your firmware version. After all it's a known issue and the solution to the problem is there.
And no, i don't have a backup image or so of my stock firmware.
There was a post here on xda with all GB tft files and there was a Belgium one.
Just search for that post, I can't seem to find it anymore tho

I don't think the shop where i bought it (Phonehouse) will bother it but maybe when it comes to Sony they will see it and won't replace it?

I returned my phone last week (also in Belgium) and to be sure I re-flashed my phone to stock.
I recommend doing it to.

I'm quite sure they won't bother
I think of it like this, your phone arrives at the repair center. The person who has to repair it reads what is wrong with it. He then says: "Ah, i see, the yellow tint issue. Time to get to work, but not without checking the software version first".
It's a very unlikely scenario if you ask me. He's just going to fix the screen, check if it still works completely and maybe do some additional tests in the service menu or so.
But you could indeed just do what Hitmax117 mentioned, just to be sure.

Settings, about, somewhere in one of those options is the updater.
If that doesn't work try this, remember always backup first as this way can/might reset your phone

This will be the last time as you are providing no info of what you have done.
Have you even tried the method I have given you?
It does not matter if you have cancelled it or not as you are doing a manual update check.

In the about phone section can you tell me what version of android you have and it will also be followed by something like this UGMK7 etc
Edit: you need to match up your pda,csc and modem version to one on this site. If it matches the top on you do indeed have the latest.

you should make sure the German software is for your model or you risk bricking your phone, and if you send it in and they see that software is not intended for your device they could void the warranty. I am not sure how KNOX works but it may be tripped f you try to flash another image.
Hopefully someone more familiar with Samsung than I can explain in better detail.
Please put a ? at the end of your title so people know this is a question I got freaked out when reading the title LOL

What does rooting have to do with anything that the OP asked? He is talking about Flashing Stock Firmware and not rooting.

As far as I know, it should NOT trip Knox but don't quote me on that. I am awaiting my T-Mobile DE Branded Phone and first thing I am doing is flashing UK Firmware on it (after inspecting it's flawless)>
Let us know how it goes when you flash yours.

I already tried to flash, but it didn't work. I looked at some howtos because it's my first time flashing with odin. But I think I can blaim Windows 10 and bad drivers. I will try it in a Windows 7 VM asap.
modifying your firmware in any way will void your Samsung warranty, but depending on your carrier and who you have insurance with, it might not void THAT warranty..
you wont be able to return it to Samsung if you have to..

Okay I tried again, this time with a newly downloaded firmware and odin 3.10.6 and it worked perfectly!
I can report it definitely does not tripp knox.
Also, it didn't erase any data during the process (besides bloat apps), so I don't need to restore anything.

Wrong, as a Samsung repair tech I can say flashing a firmware from an other region or bloadware Free stock firmware will not do anything to your warrenty, as long you don't trigger knoxx
We do the same, for example phone comes in with a Luxemburg firmware, go out with an netherland firmware ( because the last Available lux firmware is still on june security patch, and the netherland firmware already have july patch)

Hello ,Juts to make the question clear .In case I have the original FW (from sammobile ) which my S7 came from box and I will flash other country stock rom ,and in case it wouldn't good I will flash back the original FW will it void Samsung warranty ? Would be the knox tripped ?
Knox will not be tripped. Everything will be samsung official. I never heard of guaranty declined for other country official firmware!
If you flash official firmware wou'll be ok

Hello ,seems you are the man who can help me . I've got my phone before 1 month .I have SM-G930FD version which have been worked fine during 2 weeks ,afterwards (seems it happened after OTA update ) the phone started to freeze and reboot randomly . I did factory reset ,initializing with Smart Switch ,bu nothing helps ,it work for some days and then phenomenon back . I'd like to flash it with Stock FW . The question is Can I use the SM-G930F for my region to flash it in my SM-G930FD ??? In case I flash it back with FW it was before would I loose the Samsung warranty? Would the knox be tripped ?
I have rooted my phone and then I have unrooted in the Super SU --> Full unroot, but then my device still says State: Custom and the Knox counter is at 1. How do I reset all of this and fully unroot my device, like it was never unrooted? And will I be able to send it to the guaranty and receive the future software updates? Help please.

That is possible, just reflash official firmware in odin. You then will receive updates etc.
But knox counter will stay 0x1.

hi guys
since MM6.0.1 updated officialy from samsung, i got a random reboot and freeze problem, I tried to flash the rom again
and wipe cache and reset factory setting (normal and hard one ) and flashed another rom and downgrading back to lollipop
nothign actually work
seems the problem is not on the ROM or MM 6.0.1 no longer
anyone face this problem or found a solution for it ?
my mobile s6 edge G925f
thanks all
If this is persistent and across different ROMs then there could be a hardware issue. Else, welcome to the club...
