I tried to repair my X10 via PC Companion and there was a blackout so I couldn't update my phone and since then I can't turn on my phone. Can I flash a stock rom on my X10 via Flashtool?

If you have a Sony X10 tft file you can flash it via Flashtool.
Using a stock Sony X10i 2.3.3 GB tft firmware file is a safe option if you're having problems.
Using custom ROMs could create additional problems unless you're experienced in installing custom ROMs.
You can also use 'Sony Update Service' to restore the default Sony X10i GB 2.3.3 firmware.
Sony Update Service is the easiest way to restore the default Sony ROM.

If the device is bricked you sometimes can flash a new ftf file using Flashtool .
Is the device stuck in a boot loop (displays se logo then restarts) ?
As far as I know u can flash a new firmware if it is stuck in boot loop (Yes I have done so on mine)
You can find stock firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749426
Good Luck on fixing it.

I have a mini pro sk17a, it came with .48 , i got it rooted, unlocked bootloader, installed custom kernel and ROM. All was fine, until I tried to update the phone to .58 using wotanserver. The upgrade wnet fine, but the phone does not boot any more, just sony errison logo and then triangle and yellow ! and powers off. tried .48 with wotanserver with the same results. Tried PC companion and I got a message back that no software is available for my phone yet. Is that a joke? tried flashing custom kernel back, same result. Desperately need help, I have a nice brick on my hands.

akshay13071990,
You are the MAN!!!
yes, re-locking bootloader worked with wotanserver, although pc companion said the same thing.. no software available yet.
Thank you very much!
help
hello akshay13071990 I have the same problem but with the u20 MiniPro would greatly appreciate if you give me some help
When PC Companion said that to me it annoyed me.
But I simply flashed stock .42 kernel .ftf (I had stock rom + custom kernel) using flashtool and the PC Companion could update my Neo V (MT11i) to .62 stock rom.
Then I re-flashed custom kernel and thats fine by now.
When ICS is launched I'll do the same procedure. Flash stock .62 kernel, connect to pc companion, upgrade to ICS (so I do not loose data) and reflash custom kernel.
Hi!
I flashed my X10a using Feralab rom and DomKernel V6 and everything is ok. However, I have to take my X10 to the repairing center because of an old problem in touchscreen. So, I'd like to know how to flash back my X10 with original Sony Ericsson rom and Sony Ericsson Kernel. Where can I find this rom and kernel?
Thanks!
Go look in flashtool thread you will find out ftf files... Download one for your region.... And flash through flashtool
Sent from my X10
Download the original 2.3 release from SE (or rather only S;-) ) install it through PC companion. It will wipe everything though. If you do a backup of your current rom, you can root your phone when you get it back and restore the backup.

Just use the repair mode in SEUS or PC companion
Ok. Thanks but, will it recovery the original kernel as well? Because I have a backup of the firmware (rom), provided by xRecovery, and when I recovered it, the DomKerel still there..

dont worry kernel will also be stock one
Thanks again, but I tried to use the SEUS and PC Companion. However, both are saying that I've already have the most recent software and I cannot do nothing more. I'm desperate.. I have to leave home and take my X10 tho the repairing center in 1h but I cannot recovery this.. The rom is already recovered, but the kernel no..
What can I do?
Thank you a lot!
try restore mode in it.
If not then there are generic 2.3.3 or 2.1 files in thread flash them through flashtool
kernel are included in them
sorry the only working link I found was for x10i ....

Yeah. Flash this ROM via flashtool and after that You will be able to use SEUS, because it's android 2.1
Thanks for everybody! I downloaded a generic firmware and flashed this using Flashtool. Now, both kernel and rom are in the original SE.
Thank you a lot!
glad to hear
I currently have Paul's Rom Android V 4 and a custom kernel NAA Kernel.
Since it doesn't have camera and other features I have thought of reverting back to the original firmware and kernel..
Can I directly use Sony Erricsson PC Companion to restore everything or do I have to flash the kernel of stock again ?
Please give some vision.

i dont have that rom but minicm7, and i can tell u with this one it was as simple as open the program in pc, select repair and follow the instructions. after that i had my phone with stock kernel and rom again. dont be afraid, if it wasnt possible the program would tell u.
Thanks for your kind reply, I am going to do it but when I connect my Device it says Xperia X10 but not Xperia X10 Mini Pro, previously it used to show Xperia X10 Mini Pro ?? Confusing ? I recently upgraded the SE PC Companion.
That's just showing how much SE. Really don't care for our phones. In flash it should be fine but if your worried download sony ericsson update service instead. Btw when you flash you will have stock rom kernel etc but your bootloader is still unlocked. Just in case you thought that would relock it

Thanks for your kind reply If I keep it unlocked does it affect in any way ? I don't properly understand. I unlocked it for the NAA Kernel.

for sony ericsson. not the PC companion to revert back. you should use UPDATE SERVICE to restore back to stock condition and redo all the mod again.

There is a repair option in SEUS or PC Companion. Keep your phone disconnected from the computer while you choose update and it will give you that repair option. If your provider hasn't meddled with the software too much you should be able to just choose the phone-type, SEUS or PC Companion (whichever you use) will download the appropriate firmware and ask you to connect your phone in flashmode. (ie hold the backbutton with the phone turned off, and plug in the usb-cable)
That should fix it
try to flashing with flashtool, it much easier
1 you should have the latest version of flashtool
2 you should have the stock rom eclair
3 flashing your phone with that eclair rom..

Trouble with this method is getting the stock rom for flashtool, all links seem to have been removed from the servers where they were stored, so unless you already had one, or made one yourself, you can't use this method.
