I am on the NC5 build rooted but without being able to use rom slots on safestrap I'm not sure I'm comfortable flashing a new rom. My main gripe with the touchwiz rom is the color scheme on the quicksettings and other settings menus. Is there an easy way to theme these things or would I need to flash a rom? Thank's for the help and sorry for the newbie question.

I can't say easy but if you can keep an eye on this post you'll find some flashable zips with hardkey, pop up menus in different colors and in flashable zips, assuming that would cover what you're asking.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53267335
but I wouldn't bother checking until tomorrow.

If you guys could upload below system files i could theme each rom. I believe each zip is less than 11mb so you could upload on this post
I would need:
1. /system/Framework/Framework-res.apk
2. /system/app/systemUI.apk
Once i theme them i could upload to OP and ppl could try them out.
Notification Background
Just curious....
Would you guys rather have a cool Animated Image in the background of the notification pull down? or would you rather have just a nice pic.
For sake of argument, lets say it didn't eat up battery any more/less, didn't create any lag, and the animation was smooth.
Give me some feedback.

I understand you. If you dont want to flash a rom and 'd stay on stock , you can modify your status bar manually(needs root and root explorer) Go to /system /app/System UI and press view. Go to /res/drawable-hdpi and you'll see all the image files, and you can change what you want

I think there wont be a pack only for the status bar, and if this exists, you must be deodoxed to install that.

Hi. I have installed Pardus HD version 4.1.2 S4 Edition FINAL. After finishing the installation, I have then installed Deluxe Settings through Play Store and have made some tweaking using it. Is that all that I need to be able to fully "enjoy" the greatness of the ROM?
If so, am I able to flashed another theme to this ROM as I am not a fan of the white S4 theme that has been included with the ROM?
Really hope to have an answer to this. I'm merely a noob and needs confirmation before I accidently brick my phone.
Thank you in advance!

You should be able to flash themes, it's not highly recommended to flash theme on an existing theme, but I do it all the time and I've never had a problem. The worst that could happen is the you get a bootloop, just reinstall the rom and that's it

Hi Danny. If I were to change the theme, I should get the theme that is compatible with the JKay Deluxe Settings that I have right? Its that all?
If I were to get bootloop, will I be able to easily go to Recovery mode?
Thanks in advance.

To fully use the customization that jkay provide you should flash jkay compatible themes like this one, this is my favourite... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2165980.
Yeah, just hold volume up, menu and turn off key at the same time, and it will reboot in to recovery
Hey all. I've themed my n3 to ultimate awesomeness. Everything's black and whited out..except my phone, contacts, and mms. Does anyone know of a flashable zip for a deodexed touchwiz mj4 setup? I also might be interested in making a donation in order to see this happen. If anyone has any info it would be a great help. Thanks,
-Matthew:laugh:
No promises. But should be a pretty simplistic flashable phone / contacts / mms / email package added to the minin3 rom in the development section in the next day or so. Just transitioning to V4 first.

What about for a stock touchwiz rom? I finally got it right where I want it and don't want to flash any other rooms until kit Kat. If not no worries man.
There is a guy in the tmobile section that had a stock base themed like dark holo. It looks great.
Unfortunately, he doesn't want to port it. Someone should bring his work over here.
school right now, ugh.

The ones coming for minin3 will work on a stock rom. Provided you can meet 2 conditions.
1. Must have root.
2. Custom recovery twrp for flashing.
Or.. A file manager with root access.
Or... Adb access
Or.... terminal emulator.
