I have the LGUPLUS korean galaxy s3 and am using an att simcard with it. Im not entirely experienced with phone tweaks so i was hoping someone on here can help. When i boot up my phone it will try to find signal, when it does the signal is usually low around one bar and is stuck on G data instead of 4g. Is there a fix to this? Or is there any modifications that can be made to allow the 4g data? Ive messed with he hidden menu but changing the settings didnt seem to help the extremely slow data issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
Using an unlocked T-Mobile Vibrant in Canada.
Everything works OK except a huge issue, many people seem to have the same problem.
Once it lost signal, it will keep searching for the network for up to half an hour, it may see the network but will not register. I tried to play with the settings with no luck. The phone got the latest upgrade but it did not help either.
Hence my question:
Is there anything I can do to fix it ? Do I have to wait for Froyo hoping it will solve the problem ?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Hey folks,
Would appreciate any help here. Had T-Mo and flashed a couple of ICS modems and they sort-of worked (forced it to the AWS band). Moved to StraightTalk and have been having problems since. Tried flashing several modems (pretty much everyone of the ones from the blaze, the SII (989) and the T-Mobile Note leaks as well as the UCLD3 and UCLE2 modems. They either don't work or drop the signal so frequently that the phone is useless.
Running flapjaxx's CM9 RC right now (not that any ICS ROM has made a difference).... I thought that flashing UCLE2 would bring it back to "stock" AT&T but clearly something is messed up. Any help? Please!
Forgot to mention that it isn't that it shows no service but rather the signal drops completely but the data connection is "maintained" (you'll see an H or 3G but in reality you can't make call or use data). Also, I'm using StraightTalk but.on the AT&T frequencies so UCLE2 shouldn't be a problem? (Maybe something stuck from the T-Mo leaks???)
Factory reset. You can do it from the recovery menu or from Settings>Privacy>Factory Reset.
Thanks for the suggestion. Just did a factory reset (twice). That didn't help :-(
Anyone else? Please?
So I've been flashing a lot of ROMs recently, and all my att service doesn't work now, but I still see my reception bars and stuff. Does anyone know what could be wrong or fix it?
What are your apn settings?
Ive been doing research the last few days and havent been able to find much info. Im hoping I'll get some help here. Currently I have a tmobile galaxy note 3 sm-n900t. Im switching to viaero wireless who recently activated there 4g network. I have been unable to get my device to connect to there h+ even after using tech support. The phone is rooted and sim unlocked with stock android 4.4 running. I have tried several apn settings but nothing is working. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it work? With the network mode on auto I can access edge but cant get h+ (thats what tech support said I should see). Im wondering if I need to get into service mode and make some changes. Ive tried researching how to get into service mode to modify settings without any luck. Thanks
Bought a refurb SCH-I545 Verizon to run on Tmobile network. Created a new APN and have things working but signal is rather poor. Seems to hunt around a LOT from no signal to full signal and data 2G to 4GLTE. Not consistent at all. Many calls being missed and sometimes trying to call out, I have no signal. Tmobile is out of ideas. I think I have most settings right but something is either wrong with the phone or a setting is off.
Can anyone confirm?
I am considering rooting the phone to delete all the bloatware? I am not sure if the boot loader will be opened? I would not mind losing the Verizon boot screen and the "sim is not verizon" BS....
At first, tmobile thought the phone did not support 1,9ghz but all documents I can find say it is fully supported. Do I need some radio apps?
