Hi i have just bought a PIPO M6pro tablet
After about 10mins on it i pressed the downwards arrows on the bottom left and all the soft navigation keys dissapeared
I cant find any way to get them back? i dont want to have to reset the tablet each time i press it
Also if you do know of a way to restore them is there a way to turn off those arrows as my kids are bound to press it
Thanks

Recently I am having problems with my phone, and am wondering if it is a software or hardware problem.
I have tried loading the TNT4 rom & WS5SE roms (this is a g4), and there is no change (im on the Tnt4 one now).
The touchscreen works okay, but the soft key buttons do not. The right bottom one is okay, the left one triggers the right one, the send button show the letters "uytga" on the phone screen when i press them, the end button shows "mn" or something, the camera button works perfect, the comm manager button is the same as the voice button (even when i map it with a program it says "button 4").
It even happens on the soft keys on the keyboard when i slide it out.
Also I used Start-sSPL to put the roms on. Is there a way I can get the OEM one back on or fix the button problem?
Any help will be appreciated.
Hey guys, I just got my G tab and installed Vegan ginger edition, everything was going along fine, and suddenly my hard home key started taking me to the dock home screen instead of the normal one. The soft home key in the notification tray still takes me to the normal home screen, it's just the hard key that is screwy. Is there a setting for this somewhere that I'm missing? I can't remember doing anything at the time that would have caused it. Any help?
I upgraded my Motorola Droid Mini XT1030 to KitKat 4.4. Frequently, the 3-dots menu shows up in a black bar at the bottom of the screen, all by itself taking up space. I'm guessing on a phone with soft keys, it would show all 4 soft keys, but since mine has 3 capacitive keys and no capacitive menu key, it shows the 3-dots overflow menu soft key by itself. Is there any way to get rid of that and map its function to a long press of the Recent Apps key (whereas short-press still works normally)?
EDIT: N/M, turns out there's an option under Display to make the phone work exactly the way I want it to!
Hi,
A while back I bought a neat little toy from Singapore. It's a dual core 2,5 inch Android phone.
There's just one thing that bothers me. The "alt+tab" physical button actually acts as the menu button.
I've looked around a bit and been trying to figure something out but so far I'm stuck.
The phone is ready rooted and is up to date on that front, I just need some help editing one of the files in /system/media/keylayout, I think.
Here's a picture if there's any doubt on which button I mean. It's the button to the left: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0uo8er3nb5reocm/IMG_20150711_175617.jpg?dl=0
If I do succeed in changing the action on this button will the apps automaticly add the onscreen menu button? Or is there a way to make long-press the now remapped button to have another action so I don't lose the ability to get menu dropdowns?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
No one?
Is there anyway I can have the navigation bar on all the time? Including fullscreen videos? I hate having to click back on the camera (and other apps) for the navbar to appear when I can just press home if the navbar was always on. Is there anyway to do this through Xposed orany other method?
The soft keys?
If you're talking about the soft keys then there are 2 ways for them to pop up on the screen.
1. Tap the screen (this only works on certain apps)
2. Swipe - if you're in landscape mode then swipe the right edge inwards the soft keys will appear.
If you're in Portrait then swipe up from the bottom edge and the soft keys will appear.
But if you're talking about the Navigation bar then you need to swipe Downward no matter if you're in Landscape or Portrait..

I know how to make them appear, I'm asking if there's a way to make them stay there all the time like physical keys. Off topic is there also a way to remove the delay response of holding the power button for the power options to appear?

Sorry I can't give you firm answers because my phone is with LG for repair, but I do recall seeing in settings options for when the buttons appear and disappear. It allowed you to set it on a per-app basis.
As for the delay response for the power button, your best bet would be to see if there is an Xposed plugin. To use Xposed you'll need to root the phone.
When I get my phone back I can give you more specifics, but LG has the worst warranty repair service and has yet to fix the issue after sending it to them four times.
You at JBLM? Thanks for your service!

Thanks for your reply  but I've looked at everything possibly related to power button delay or the navigation bar (soft keys) on Xposed before posting here and still nothing. I did find a screenshot delay remover in Xposed and works great. Finding the power button is not as important as the soft keys because I can just use Rom Toolbox's rebooter and power/reboot/recovery etc... The soft keys thing on the other hand I would like to have because I hate having to pull up for them to make them appear... Iv'e looked at the settings you mention for showing/not showing per app but every app is not listed, its just some of the apps on your phone (apps that I would like to have the soft keys always on are mostly video apps which are not listed on this settings.) I', almost used to it by now, I just rather have the keys always on or a phone with actual physical keys.
Yes I live in JBLM . I'm a dog handler in the Army.
