Hey guys.Im new to the forum. im stuck in a sticky situation here. my verizon lg g2 is rooted and has twrp recovery and it has previously been updated to stock lg kitkat from factory. it is very buggy and i cant fix that so i want to flash cm11. i flashed cm11 and it says it was successful.but when i try too boot into the rom it gets stuck in a boot loop.so i entered recovery and restored my nandroid backup of the factory firmware. i want cm11! the factory firmware is so buggy and slow uses battery up in 1 hour. plus i hate lg bloatware and skin oem. IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET CM11 WORKING ON THIS DEVICE? your help will be greatly appreciated!
Do you try wipe data/factory set in recovery?

Are you trying to install 4.2+ rom? if yes you need to:
wipe/date
wipe/cache
wipe/dalvik cache
go to mounts and storage if you have CWM or wipe advanced wipe if in TWRP
format/system in CWM
Check system in advanced wipe in TWRP
flash the rom
reboot
If you are trying to install 4.1.2 you need to:
wipe/date
wipe/cache
wipe/dalvik cache
flash the rom
reboot
I s2 gt-i9100 international version rooted with siyah kernel, so this information might not help you but give it a try and hopefully it works, good luck!
ok i will try now with cm 10 4.2.2
and btw you know how to check if the bootloader is unlocked?

I keep getting this error which says, "boot certification vertify". when I try to go into recovery mode. To begin with, I have updated my vs985 to 5.01 lollipop and then I had my device rooted. From this I have tried using apps like Flashify or using adb to flash TWRP 2.8.6.1 touch recovery for vs985. When I flash it I then boot into recovery to see that boot certification error. Can someone please help me fix this? If you need any more info just ask.

You need to upgrade with jasmine or skydragon stock roms from a kk build, if you want to keep twrp and root. You have some partitions that need to be replaced, that's why you get the error.

So I would just flash the Jasmine rom then I could reroot my device and flash twrp or do I have to root and flash twrp, install partitions and then upgrade with Jasmine rom?

Did you flash to a KK 12b version method?
Using the image that Sublime posted resulted in the same issue.
I upgrade my phone to 12B then I rooted and flashed the newest version of twrp which happens to be then 2.6.8.1 version I think. Then I flashed the Jasmine rom....

Use the latest version that TWRP Manager offers, then use TWRP to flash the latest one on XDA made for the G3.

If you are still on kitkat and you want to go to lolipop then you need the flash a stock LP rom before you can go to custom one.

After I flashed stock LP I had to flash my KK modem because my phone wasn't booting.
Is that normal?
Or maybe I should have flashed twrp, fully wiped everything then flahed LP
Idk, now I'm still stuck with kk modem :/

Can't use the twrp you used on OS 3 for ROMs that don have updated bootloader (currently Ashwins CM13, CM14 do.) For the rest you have to use original twrp. You can just flash it in your current recovery by pressing IMG button bottom right.

Did you install OS 2 before you flashed original twrp?
You have tou use the correct corresponding twrp for each Android version. Official 3.0.20 and unofficial oos 3 twrp version don't work both ways.
Omicron Technics
Fastboot install old OnePlus recovery, then flash OOS 2.2.3.
Then fastboot flash Official TWRP.

You can use this guide to go back to stock.
Then use this to root.
Then flash twrp using flashify.
Then flash the rom
Cheers!

The error probably because of any firmware issue. That's why I'm telling you to re-flash stock.
FYI kingroot is not a proper root method. There is a huge possibility that kingroot itself cause software failure.
