Hi,
I have been working on Andorid since 4.5+ years and in this time frame worked on various types of aps.
Please have a look at the aps on which I have worked on , link available at my portfolio or go to vivekdubey.com/category/MyWork
In case you like my work and have projects available for freelance lying with you, please do ping.

why would you want that? the youtube client from htc is almost perfect, psptube is bugged and doesn't even support HQ videos
HTC YouTube is not that great (and only for YouTube). I've personally grown to hate HTC and it's apps. People have been spending so much time porting components from different devices/ROMs that real development has stopped for many great apps (I miss HS++ most...). For this reason I refuse using anything from HTC (also since I have a Samsung phone it feels morally wrong).
WVD works in a similar way to PSPTube (browses the online videos and parses the links to an external player). But PSPTube has the advantage of flexibility since anyone why the know-how can add and update website support even without the app sources... This was something I suggested many times to JM81 (but his huge hiatus in the forum makes me believe he left the scene).
Makku12 was going on a similar direction with Tube8 viewer but there hasn't been many news lately either...
Anyway I fear this thread will either be moved/closed or get buried by other threads (just wanted to share my 2 cents before that happened)... Utterly it's the fate of almost every request thread since most unfortunately there aren't many willing skilled devs in the platform anymore (the few ones left are generally already engaged in some project).

This project may be wearing a window 6 and later for the win mobile 7 and even for Android.
Hello!
I have been working on this Wiki for Optimus V users. It's open to the public as of now, and has a bunch of data already added. Thanks to the members who have already made edits, you are really doing your fellow Optimus V'ers a favor by adding information to the site. I have been monitoring the site traffic and everyday it goes up and up, nearly doubling every day! Please feel free to make changes/edits or add new pages to the wiki, it's the contributers that will make this site really flourish. I am currently paying out of my own pocket for a premium membership here and my hope is that in the end we can simply stick some clean google ads in on there and let the site support itself. So take a look, if you feel like you have anything to add, please do. Anonymous edits are allowed but we urge you to join our team! Thanks very much! I really hope this site will help some people out, newcomers to the scene or the elite!
ps: I will be working on a better navigation/portal as I feel there is finally enough content to do so! I feel like a nice way to organize it would be by "Android Basic, Android Intermediate and Android Advanced" and then cross-linking all the current content together. if anyone has any suggestions on this please chime in or go ahead and work on your idea! open source style!
pps: I'm not making a single cent off this site and never plan to. We accept donations to cover our wikispaces fees only.

update!
Just a little update letting everyone know the site has been updated quite a bit since I made this thread a while back! Have organized the information into a repo of sorts arranged by the level of skill one may need to take on a hack or modification. Have also been receiving some donations from some kind individuals and have been saving up to hopefully soon pick up some real server space and use the official Wikipedia framework, Wikispaces is nice but they are really lacking in terms of being able to customize your wiki or even do some basic things like edit or upload your own html. So if you didn't enjoy the site when you first took a peek give it another chance, the awesome wiki team members and a bunch of guests have been submitting quite a bit and it's thanks to their work that we are currently receiving over 2000 unique hits every month! thanks!!
ps: added google ads on the left side, all clicks make money for the site! thanks!
So I found this project about 6 months ago and I got all of the hardware and dedicated a device to it. However upon setting it all up I found that I have an air handler and heat pump instead of a furnace and central air. I was wondering if there is anyone here that can help me to get it working with a heat pump since the original dev has stopped working on the project.. It would be greatly appreciated by me and many others. I do not have any experience in coding but can test everything. I would also be very open and willing to learn the coding side of this project. The project can be found at androidthermostat.com
Thanks,
Julian
Hi,
I have been working as an Android developer since many years, and have recently switched to full time freelance development.
It has not been much time since I joined xda. I landed here while looking for some opportunities and thought of registering here.
Looking forward to connect with you guys, at the same time getting some work too.
Thanks to all
Google made android go for budget phones, but there are so many older phones that could run "go". If google was smart, they'd relax the rules, and make the parameters available to ROM devs . This phone would be usable for a little longer. This would help out fragmentation too, if " go" could be put on older devices. I hope somebody looks into this, this phone still has a lot of life left.
Shearch AdrianDC thread of andoid go and try.
